Cornyn and Paxton headed to runoff in GOP Texas Senate primary

After neither candidate in the Texas U.S. Senate race secured more than 50% of the vote needed to win their party’s nomination, Texas Senator John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton will advance to a May runoff.
