2 Arkansas Inmates Escape, Including One Held On Murder Charges

Two inmates at an Arkansas county jail, including one being held on murder charges, have escaped.

Jatonia Bryant and Noah Roush were discovered missing Monday night, around 10:30 p.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) said in a press release. The two escaped from the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center and may have broken free within the previous 48 hours. It is unclear how long it had been before they were discovered missing. It is also unclear how they escaped.

Roush, 22, is a white male, 6’2” tall, and weighs about 180 pounds with a scar on the right side of his head. He was being held on probable cause for residential burglary and theft of property. He is also the suspect in a homicide.

Bryant, 23, is a black male, 5’11” tall, and weighs about 145 pounds. He was being held on probable cause of capital murder.

“Both individuals are to be considered dangerous and should only be approached by law enforcement personnel,” the JCSO said in its press release. “All efforts are being made at this moment to apprehend these suspects. The JCSO is working in cooperation with the Pine Bluff Police Department Vice and Narcotics, Arkansas State Police, And Arkansas Department of Correction to locate these individuals.”
