Grand Central Station Targeted By Pro-Palestinian Mob During Unruly NYC Demonstration

A mob of pro–Palestinian protesters attempted to kick in a door at Grand Central Station in New York City on Friday night as demonstrators throughout the city tore down American flags and vandalized buildings.

The demonstrations were part of a “flood Manhattan for Gaza” protest organized by the pro-Palestinian groups Within Our Lifetime and the City University of New York for Palestine. In the aftermath of the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel, pro-Palestinian protests have popped up throughout the U.S.

New York Post reporter Steven Vago shared images and videos of the unruly protest, which eventually prompted authorities to temporarily shut down Grand Central Station. In one video from Vago, a group of men holding Palestinian flags can be seen trying to kick in the doors outside of the train station.

Protesters also placed a sticker on a Dior store in Manhattan that said “Resist Colonial Power By Any Means Necessary,” one photo shows. Another photo showed police congregating outside of a Starbucks store after a couple protesters yelled, “Burn down Starbucks.”

A New York Daily News reporter was also harassed by pro-Palestinian protesters with one yelling “F*** you Zionist pig.” The New York Times was targeted as well with protesters smearing fake blood on the doors outside its office.

One demonstrator scaled a street post and ripped down several American and U.N. flags before being arrested by police while another person burnt an Israel flag.

“Go the f*** back where you came from! You feel a certain way? Go back to where the f*** you came from!” one person told a group of pro-Palestinian protesters.

New York City Police told one group in the road to move to the sidewalk or be arrested.

“You are unlawfully in the roadway. If you remain in the roadway and refuse to use the sidewalk, you will be placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct,” a NYPD officer said at one point during the night on Friday.

Multiple people were arrested by police, but the total number has yet to be released.

Pro-Palestinian protests have taken places up in cities across the world in the wake of the Hamas terrorists attacks against Israel that left 1,400 Israelis dead and thousands wounded.
