Heidi Klum Reacts To Daughter Following In Her Footsteps As A Model

Heidi Klum admitted she’s worried about her daughter Leni Klum following in her footsteps as a model because self-employment can “always” be “tricky.”

The 50-year-old supermodel opened up about her 19-year-old daughter becoming a model and said her daughter is still going to school, so she’s not convinced her daughter will make a career of it, E! News reported.

When asked if she was “nervous” about her daughter modeling, Klum said no, but added, “I can’t say I was excited either because you know when you’re self-employed, it is always tricky.”

“Who knows if this is something she’ll always even want to do forever,” she added. “She’s studying because she wants to do interior design, and she’s doing this right now. She’s only 19 years old, you know? So, who knows what all the things are that she will do.”

Leni made her debut in the modeling world in December 2020 when she posed alongside her mom for the cover of Vogue Germany’s January/February 2021 issue, People magazine noted.

Speaking about her modeling debut, Leni said that getting to do that first job with her mom was incredible, noting that she’s been in that world with her mom for a long time, according to People.

“I’ve always gone to work with my mom and thought, ‘This looks so fun. She looks so happy while she’s working,'” Leni said. “I’d jump in sometimes, and I’d play around with the makeup that her makeup artist would bring.”

“That’s, like, insane that I did that as my first job and my mom was with me, which made it so much fun,” she added. “It was just such a good day. I wasn’t nervous at all. I was just so excited. I was like, ‘I’m finally modeling, and it’s Vogue.’ It was just so many things to be excited about.”
