Singer Rihanna took the stage to kick off the Super Bowl LVII halftime show on Sunday, her appearance immediately sparked rumors that she might be pregnant with her second child.

The Barbadian-born artist took the stage in a form-fitting red jumpsuit, showing off what appeared to be a baby bump — and causing Twitter users to speculate wildly.

“This is why she is a QUEEN!!!! Pregnant, looked incredible, sounded incredible, was on a platform in the middle of the air… everything about this performance,” Nicole Servinis added.

“Rihanna. Imperious. Incredible. Baby bumping. All hits. At all heights. With all of the lights. Queen,” said Amrit Singh.

“OK so everyone just googled ‘Rihanna pregnant’ right?” David Mack asked.

“If you listen closely, that’s the sound of millions of people googling ‘Rihanna pregnant,'” Kate Smith agreed.

It would be funny if after the halftime show so the press are like ‘wow Rihanna! So you’re pregnant?’ And she was like ‘what? No,'” Ben Dreyfuss joked.

Rihanna welcomed her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky in May of 2022, and recently described her work-life balance as a new parent as “almost impossible,” saying, “No matter how you look at it, work is always something that’s going to rob you of time with your child. That’s the currency now, that’s where it goes. The magnitude of how much it weighs.”

“When you make decisions of what you’re going to say yes to, it has to be worth it,” she continued, saying that she felt like the Super Bowl was definitely worth putting in the time — and was something that she would be proud to look back at with her child and say that she had met the challenge.

“It’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that,” she said.
