Secret Service Finds Tree Stand With Clear View Of Trump’s Palm Beach Air Force One Exit

The United States Secret Service has discovered an elevated tree stand with a clear view of the area where President Donald Trump routinely disembarks from Air Force One in Palm Beach, Florida.

Eric Trump responded to the news, praising the Secret Service for finding the potential threat and taking care of it.

“‘Hunting Stand’ — for all the Whitetail on Southern BLVD,” he began sarcastically before adding, “Located directly across the street from Palm Beach International Airport, in the median of a major highway … directly facing the Air Force One stairs (200yds). Ps the Secret Service did a GREAT job finding this …”

The elevated stand, which would typically be used for hunting, was discovered on Thursday according to a report published by Fox News Digital — and appeared to have been there for some time. It has not yet been linked to any potential suspects.

According to USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi, there was no one in the vicinity when the stand was discovered during preparations for Trump’s arrival at Palm Beach International Airport.

“There was no impact to any movements, and no individuals were present or involved at the location,” he told Fox News Digital. “While we are not able to provide details about the specific items or their intent, this incident underscores the importance of our layered security measures.”

The FBI is currently investigating the situation, Director Kash Patel confirmed on Sunday, and is working closely with the USSS

Patel gave the outlet a statement, saying, “Prior to the President’s return to West Palm Beach, USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone. No individuals were located at the scene. The FBI has since taken the investigatory lead, flying in resources to collect all evidence from the scene, and deploying our cell phone analytics capabilities.”

The discovery marks yet another potential threat against President Donald Trump, who has already survived multiple attempts on his life. He was shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024 — in an attack that seriously wounded two others and killed firefighter Corey Comperatore. The would be assassin was killed at the scene.

Ryan Routh, 59, was recently convicted on federal charges pursuant to his attempt to assassinate the president in Florida — and then attempted to stab himself in the neck upon hearing the verdict.
