UCLA Students Hit Netanyahu Piñata On Campus: ‘Beat That F***ing Jew!’

UCLA is facing backlash over a video that went viral this week that showed far-Left pro-Palestinian protesters attacking a piñata depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The extremists, who covered their faces, cheered and yelled obscenities during the on-campus event, including one who yelled: “Beat that f***ing Jew!”

The account that posted the video on X wrote: “I am horrified. This was @ucla today. This is indefensible. They will start with punching piñatas and end with punching Jews.”

“Why are these peaceful protestors covering their face?” asked CNN medial analyst Jonathan Reiner.

“Is this Iran? Nope, it’s @UCLA, one of the nation’s ‘finest’ educational institutions,” wrote Eden Cohen.

“The Indoctrination Centers of Higher Learning are absolute breeding grounds for anti-Semitism,” wrote conservative commentator Ned Ryan. “It’s been building for years with the Progressive’s alliance with the Palestinian’s BDS movement.”

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) commented: “Truly disgusting to see such hatred and antisemitism take place on college campuses.”

A local ABC News affiliate said that the event was sponsored in part by Students for Justice in Palestine, an extremist group that schools across the country have started to clamp down on.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ordered his state to crack down on groups after they showed support for Hamas’ Operation Al-Aqsa Flood terrorist attack against Israel last month where they murdered 1,400 Israelis, wounded 5,300 people, and kidnapped more than 240.

Ray Rodrigues, chancellor of the State University System of Florida, sent notices to the University of Florida and the University of South Florida notifying them that they must deactivate their chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine because they allegedly broke Florida laws about terrorism.

“National Students for Justice in Palestine (National SJP) released a ‘toolkit’ which refers to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as ‘the resistance’ and unequivocally states: ‘Palestinian students in exile are PART of this movement, not in solidarity with this movement,'” the letter said.

The letter noted that under Florida law, it is a felony to “knowingly provide material support . . . to a designated foreign terrorist organization. . .” Hamas is designated by the Untied States as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

“Here, National SJP has affirmatively identified it is part of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood—a terrorist led attack,” the letter continued, later adding: “Based on the National SJP’s support of terrorism, in consultation with Governor DeSantis, the student chapters must be deactivated.”
