Taylor Swift Confirms That ‘Eras Tour’ Is Coming To An End

Taylor Swift thanked fans for all their support before she confirmed at her Liverpool show on Thursday that “The Eras Tour” is officially coming to an end this year.

Speaking to the crowd at the 100th show of the “Eras” tour, the 34-year-old pop singer told the crowd at Anfield Stadium in England that it felt like they “just played their first show,” before she shared the news, People magazine reported.

“A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?'” Swift said, fan-filmed footage showed. “The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December.”

“That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us,” she added. “It’s taken over everything.”

“I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups,” Swift continued, making a reference to her surprise songs at her concerts around the world.

She closed out her message to fans telling them, “Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you’ve put into being with us when this tour reaches triple digits of shows — so thank you.”

The “Eras Tour” will conclude on December 8 in Vancouver with the 152nd show. Until then, the “Blank Space” hitmaker has scheduled concert dates in Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Australia, along with more dates in North America, the outlet noted.

The superstar singer’s fans at her recent three concerts in Edinburgh, Scotland, got the “ground shaking” from dancing so hard that they created seismic activity during each of her shows, as previously reported.

The British Geological Survey (BGS) confirmed that earthquake readings could be detected up to 6 km (around 4 miles) away from Swift’s concerts last weekend at Murrayfield Stadium, per CBS News.

The outlet noted that BGS said the most seismic activity occurred during Swift’s performance of three songs:  “…Ready For It?,” “Cruel Summer,” and “Champagne Problems.”

“Dancing in time to the music and reached its peak at 160 beats per minute (bpm) during ‘…Ready For It?’, where the crowd was transmitting approximately 80 kW of power (equivalent to around 10 to 16 car batteries),” the BGS noted. The loud bass in that song and the dancing generated the activity.

Scientists referred to the event as “ground shaking,” noting that Swift’s Friday night show caused the most seismic activity, delivering 23.4 nanometres (nm) of movement. The crowd and music on Saturday generated 22.8 nm, while it was 23.3 nm on Sunday.

The report noted that the fans attending the shows were likely the only ones to notice the shaking.

Biden Witnessed His Dog Attack Multiple Secret Service Members: Document

President Joe Biden witnessed multiple attacks against U.S. Secret Service (USSS) members by his dog Commander while in office, according to a newly revealed document.

According to files released to Judicial Watch by way of litigation through the Freedom of Information Act, members of the Secret Service wished each other a “safe shift” while protecting Biden due to the dozens of agents who were allegedly attacked by the German shepherd over a two year period before the dog was given away, the New York Post reported.

USSS records obtained by CNN in February showed that the dog attacks numbered at least 24, but the new agency report suggests that the attacks could be more than three dozen, the Post noted.

The files showed that the president reportedly accused one member of the Secret Service of lying about the attack, but personally watched at least three other attacks occur, the Post noted.

The latest account shows that President Biden was personally handling his dogs during incidents of biting secret service. https://t.co/GsJMwpq45Y If this were any other family, there would be a strict liability tort action against the Bidens. https://t.co/5yJxoGShKw

Commander was brought in to replace Biden’s dog, Major, who had to be rehomed in 2021 after several biting incidents of his own at the White House, The Guardian noted.

One attack not yet reported allegedly happened on September 12, 2023. The agent wrote that Biden went for a walk with the dog (on a leash) in the Kennedy Garden and “while [Biden] and Commander were in the Kennedy Garden I was standing half way from the Book-Sellers [lobby] and the Family Theater.”

“[Biden] opened the Book-Seller door and said [redacted],” the agent added. “As I started to walk toward him to see if he needed help, Commander ran through his legs and bit my left arm through the front of my jacket. I pulled my arm away and yelled no.”

“[President Biden] also yelled [redacted] to Commander,” the agent continued. “[Biden] then [redacted]. I obliged and Commander let me pet him. When turning to close the door, Commander jumped again and bit my left arm for the second time. [Biden] again yelled at Commander and attached the leash to him. My suit coat has 3 holes, 1 being all the way through. No skin was broken.”

The report showed that the Secret Service grew wary of the attacks, with one writing to a colleague after another attack on September 25, “FYI- there was a dog bite and the Officer may need to go to the hospital … Have a safe shift!” There was no information on whether Biden was there for that one.

Included in the report two days after the September 25 attack, someone from the agency’s Safety, Health & Environmental Division wrote asking, “Can we please find a way to get this dog muzzled.”

The February CNN report outlined one alleged attack from July 2023 when a special agent was providing security at Biden’s beach home and thought that Commander was on a leash in the backyard, as previously reported.

“In the background SA [redacted] heard the voice of what believes to be FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden [redacted] yelling [redacted quote]. Commander ran toward the direction of post [redacted] booth and bit SA [redacted] in the left forearm. Causing a severe deep open wound. As result of the attack SA [redacted] started to lose a significant amount of blood from [redacted] arm,” the report said.
