Trump: Kamala Harris Is Not Doing Interviews Because She Can’t Answer Questions

Former President Donald Trump said during an interview this week that Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is not giving interviews with the media because she is not able to answer questions about her abysmal record.

Trump made the remarks during a Fox News interview on Wednesday as Harris has avoided questions in the weeks following President Joe Biden announcing that he is not running for re-election.

Trump said that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) would have been a much stronger pick for Harris rather than far-Left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

He said that virtually all of the candidates she could have picked were better than her, “except this one.”

“She’s the worst of the group and she’s the one that’s leading it. Look at this decision. This is a really bad decision for the country,” he said. “You know, ultimately, I want the country to have good decisions because ultimately what we want is for the country to do well. The country can’t do well with these two people. They’re very similar, and you know, you would have thought she would have reached out and got somebody that’s got some difference.”

“Because her record on security is horrible. She was a border czar, which she doesn’t admit it now. You know, the only thing they have going is the media will play off all of the bad things, bad things that happened during her term,” he continued. “She was so bad that five weeks ago, they wanted to remove her because she was unthinkable to be president. They were going to go with anyone. And then they were afraid that they would offend people if they did that.”

“She’s so bad,” he concluded. “She’s incompetent. And after they studied it a little bit, they realized it’s not going to be so easy to do. So they say, ‘Well, look, the press is going to do whatever we want,’ because the press is a rigged deal.”

On the subject of Harris avoiding the media, Trump said: “She would never do an interview like this that I can get with any network. She doesn’t do interviews because she can’t answer questions. I don’t know how she debates.”

“I hear she’s sort of a nasty person, but not a good debater,” Trump said. “But we’ll see, because we’ll be debating her, I guess, in the pretty near future. It’s gonna be announced fairly soon, but we’ll be debating her.”

Megyn Kelly On Kamala Harris Picking ‘Most Radical’ VP Candidate Tim Walz: ‘This Guy Scares Me’

Political commentator Megyn Kelly said this week that she is genuinely scared of the far-Left candidate that Vice President Kamala Harris chose to be her running mate.

Kelly made the remarks on Wednesday after Harris revealed on Tuesday that she had selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) to be her running mate. Walz is so radical that a far-Left pro-terrorist group cheered Harris for making the pick.

“He’s the most radical they could find on the trans issue,” Kelly said. “As I said yesterday, he’s another Gavin Newsom. There’s just almost no daylight between those two – if any, at all – which is an issue very important to me personally, and my audience as well.”

“This guy scares me,” Kelly continued. “He scares me because he actually could become the vice president and potentially the president. And I’m gonna be honest with you and the audience. I watched him last night, and I thought he was amazing. He is a spectacular speaker. He was charming. He had that rally in the palm of his hand. He’s way more effective than she is, or Joe Biden is.”

“And I genuinely feel like for the first time that I can remember, had like a feeling of fear rise up in my throat,” she added.

“Because I know what he’s permitting in Minnesota when it comes to children. … Nothing compares to what we’re doing to minor children. I get emotional over it. This isn’t gonna happen to my kids. My kids are good. This isn’t about a personal thing for me, it’s about everybody else’s kids. I care about children. And he is pedal to the metal, full steam ahead on all of it. So when I watched him dazzle last night – I’m not going to vote for him, I’ve been honest about that – but I recoiled. … I see why she chose him. He’s great and he’s better than she is in his rhetoric.”
