‘This Is Not Left Or Right’: Singer Jewel Defends ‘Sound Of Freedom’ Amid Backlash

Singer and song-writer Jewel showed her support for the new film “Sound of Freedom,” sharing a video on TikTok and Twitter encouraging everyone to get out and see the movie.

Responding to a month-old tweet from Twitter owner Elon Musk – who had suggested that Angel Studios make the film available to stream on Twitter — the “Foolish Games” singer shared a video of herself talking about the importance of the movie’s message.

“It saddens me that some media is trying to politicize this movie,” she captioned the video. “This is not left or right. It’s about millions of kids being trafficked, and no matter what your faith or creed, we need to protect all the vulnerable kids rather than fight over philosophical differences.”

“You guys, I just saw the ‘Sound of Freedom,'” she said. “You have to see it. I’m so verklempt.”

“Some friends of mine made this movie,” the singer continued. “And I’ve — it’s been years of it being in production. It’s the most inspiring film. Did you know that there are millions of children in slavery? This is the fastest-growing criminal enterprise, and the amount of children enslaved right now is greater than all 300 years of the transatlantic slave trade. What the actual eff?”

“This is a true story about a man who just doesn’t give up on a child,” she said, referencing the inspiration for the movie — former federal agent Tim Ballard. “So touching, you’re going to love it. Please go see it. This is the little Indie movie that could, it’s competing with all of the giant blockbusters and it’s kicking butt and it deserves it.”

“Go see this and have your heart filled,” Jewel concluded. “Love you guys, take care of your babies!”

Jewel joins a number of others who have worked to promote the film — including actor Mel Gibson and UFC President Dana White, the latter of whom even offered to pay for tickets for any of his employees who wanted to see the film.

Critics – including a number of media outlets – have attempted to tie the film to QAnon conspiracy theories.

The mainstream media are coordinating with each other to attempt to discredit Sound of Freedom because it exposes real life child trafficking.

Singer Behind Anti-Woke ‘Boycott Target’ Song On It Being #1 Song: ‘God Prevails’

One of the singers behind the anti-woke song “Boycott Target” says that the songs catapulted to the top of the charts because the majority of people agree with the message.

Gospel artist Jimmy Levy teamed up with a political rapper to take on Target as the company was facing backlash for controversial LGBT merchandise that targeted young children.

“That shows that we’re the majority no matter what, the mainstream and Hollywood—and the industry wants to promote whatever agenda they want to promote and try to make us look like we’re the minority— people of God, patriots, Americans,” he said in an interview. “It’s just not the truth. And no matter what, God prevails.”

“There’s a cleanup on every aisle/Target is targetin’ your kids,” the song’s lyrics open. “This agenda’s gotta stop, they know we gonna win.”

“Target, Target, yeah they targetin’/Target, Target, yeah they target kids,” the song goes, continuing on to lyrics about the LGBT agenda going “too far.”

The video for the song appears to have been shot at a Target store, where LGBT Pride goods are on display for sale.

Levy said in the interview that he was moved to work on the song when he saw the retail giant “collaborating with Satanists to make children’s clothing.”

“It took like a couple of days for people to be able to actually search it on iTunes. The only way they were able to find it was on the charts. They were not allowing it to be searched,” Levy claimed. “And it’s like, ‘why is a song that’s speaking out against people that are basically grooming our children, getting taken down?’ It’s just very weird. Why are we protecting that? But we allow all these other horrible things online to just stay on, you know?”

He said that he received a ton of “hate, death threats and just horrible things” after he made the song and another song, “Reclaim the Rainbow.”
