Model Emily Ratajkowski: ‘I Find It Chic To Be Divorced By The Age Of 30’

Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski posted a video promoting the benefits of being divorced by the age of 30.

The 32-year-old split from producer Sebastian Bear-McClard after four years of marriage in September 2022. The former couple has a 2-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo.

She posted a video to TikTok on Wednesday explaining her thoughts on the situation just after actress Sophie Turner, 27, announced she was ending her marriage with singer Joe Jonas.

“So, it seems that a lot of young ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30,” Ratajkowski said in the video. “As someone who got married at 26 [who] has been separated for a little over a year [at] 32, I have to tell you, I don’t think there’s anything better.”

“Being in your 20s is the trenches,” the “Gone Girl” actress went on.

“There is nothing better than being in your 30s, still being hot, maybe having a little bit of your own money, figuring out what you want to do with your life [and] everything, and having tried that married fantasy and realizing that it’s maybe not all it’s cracked up to be,” she went on. “And then you’ve got your whole life still ahead of you.”

Ratajkowski said no one should be “feeling stressed” about “being divorced.”

“It’s good,” she insisted. “Congratulations.”

The model wrote in the video caption, “Personally I find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30.”

While many Instagram users agreed with her take, there was some pushback.

“Emily Ratajkowski (who has a personal net worth of at least 8 million dollars) is glamorizing divorce and says marriage is a ‘fantasy’…Completely out of touch and delusional,” podcast host Josh Lekach wrote on X. “Sadly, women look up to her.”

Ratajkowski previously discussed her feelings on her divorce.

“I feel all the emotions,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in November 2022. “I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be okay.”

While speaking to the publication, Ratajkowski said her mother divorced in her early 30s before she met the model’s father.

“She always romanticized that time in her life,” the “Entourage” actress explained. “So I’ve expected this decade to be the best decade, even if I didn’t see it going this way.”

Al Pacino’s 29-Year-Old Baby Mama Files For Full Custody Just 3 Months After Giving Birth

Just three months after giving birth to their first child together, Al Pacino’s girlfriend Noor Alfallah has filed for full custody of the baby.

Alfallah, 29, filed a petition in Los Angeles on Wednesday to determine the parental relationship between herself, Pacino, and the baby, per a report by Page Six. The publication noted that this form is typically used for unmarried couples to establish parameters around custody, child support, and visitation rights.

The documents allowed for Pacino, 83, to have “reasonable visitation” rights with the child and asked for shared legal custody but full physical custody. Alfallah also requested the actor to pay her legal fees and court costs.

The outlet noted that Pacino was surprised to have fathered a child at his age, especially due to a medical condition that typically causes infertility.

Pacino has three other children: 33-year-old Julie with his ex Jan Tarrant, and 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with his ex, Beverly D’Angelo. He has never been married.

Sources said he asked for a paternity test to confirm he was the baby’s father.

Once he realized he was, the “Scarface” star seemed excited about becoming a dad again.

“It’s very special,” he said in a video obtained by The Daily Mail. “It always has been. I’ve got many kids. But this is really special coming at this time.”

Pacino and Alfallah had been secretly dating since 2020, Page Six noted. Alfallah was formerly linked with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and billionaire investor Nicolas Berggruen. A source told the outlet that Alfallah “mostly dates very rich older men.”

As for fatherhood, the legendary actor told The New Yorker in 2014, “I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself.”

News of Pacino fathering a child at 83 broke just a few weeks after Robert De Niro, 79, announced that he had just welcomed a baby with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen. De Niro has six other children with three other women. Pacino and DeNiro are widely considered among the greatest living actors, having worked together in classic films like “Heat” (1995) and “The Godfather Part II” (1974).
