AOC Says Jesus Super Bowl Ad Makes “Fascism Look Benign”

The Christian organization “He Gets Us”  reportedly spent up to $20 million dollars for two Super Bowl ads that depicted Jesus being compassionate for all people no matter where they stand politically.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, however, was not a fan of the Jesus ad that was aired during Super Bowl 57.

Shortly after the Super Bowl ad aired, AOC tweeted “Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign.”

AOC would proceed to like a tweet that claimed the company behind the ad is “funding the right’s efforts to ban abortion and allow businesses to discriminate against the LGBTQ+.”

The ad AOC claimed was fascist showed dozens of black and white images of people having conflict over lockdowns, politics, and more.

At the end of the ad it showed the words “Jesus loved the people we hate.”

He Gets Us paid for the advertising space in order to get more viewers for their website that includes Bible devotionals, teachings about Jesus, and a chat line.

In case you missed it, watch the ad here:

Liberals are outraged and fuming over this Super Bowl commercial that talks about JESUS loving the people you hate. Liberals are full of hate and they just got exposed once again to be angry over this ad. pic.twitter.com/xSgVWPuf6A

Some conservative voices didn’t think the commercial was fascist at all but did believe it catered to liberal ideology.

Here was Charlie Kirk’s take:

More From Green Bay City Hall: City Officials Install Secret Video and Microphone Recording Devices in City Hall to Spy on Political Foes and Citizens

Secret video and microphone recording devices were recently discovered on the first and second floor of Green Bay, Wisconsin’s City Hall. The recording devices were installed to record citizens, staff, political officials, and citizens who enter the building.

Star News Network obtained records that show Green Bay city officials installed at least three audio recording devices in City Hall — without notifying the City Council or the public.

Alderman Chris Wery discovered that the spying equipment was installed last year — two on the second floor outside the council chamber and the mayor’s office, and one on the first floor outside the clerk’s office.

Local WFRV Local 5 reported:

In 2021 Green Bay Mayor Eric Grenrich came under fire after it was discovered he gave former Democratic operative, Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein, access to Green Bay’s absentee ballots days before the 2020 election.

Wisconsin went to Joe Biden after mysterious late-night ballot drops of hundreds of thousands of votes pushed him over the top.

We Are Green Bay has more.

Recording devices can be found on the first and second floors of Green Bay’s City Hall. Alderman Christopher Wery is acknowledging the devices and asking that they be removed for the privacy of those entering the building.

“I have a public service announcement, it has come to my attention that citizens, employees, and elected officials are being spied on in City Hall,” said Alderman Christopher Wery.

Without public knowledge, cameras and microphones were placed inside Green Bay’s City Hall. Concerns regarding the right to privacy are the issue with the cameras and microphones. Wery says many were unaware of them being recorded.
