Kremlin Offers Cash Bounties for Burning US and NATO Tanks in Ukraine

Russian politicians and companies offer rewards for burning, capturing or destroying NATO tanks in Ukraine.

The declaration was made after the US and Germany announced they would be sending tanks to Ukraine.

Joe Biden announced 31 Abrams tanks would be sent to Ukraine.

Germany announced it would send 14 Leopard tanks to Ukraine in the coming months.

Russian soldiers will be paid up to $21,450 for the capture of a US Abrams tank and $7,150 for its destruction.

Russia Today reported:

Cash bounties offered by Russian businesses and officials for the destruction of Western military equipment in Ukraine will inevitably lead to more enthusiasts willing to undertake the task, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov predicted on Wednesday.

He noted that although heavy Western tanks such as the Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams have yet to be delivered to Kiev’s forces, such proposals demonstrated the “unity and the desire of all” to contribute to reaching the goals of Russia’s ongoing military operation in Ukraine.

Last week, Berlin announced that it would supply Kiev with 14 Leopards and allow other European countries to export their own stocks to Ukraine, amounting to a total of 112 tanks. Washington, meanwhile, has pledged 31 Abrams tanks, but doesn’t expect to deliver them until late 2023.

Following the West’s decision, the governor of Russia’s eastern Zabaikalsky Region, Alexander Osipov, signed an order declaring that local soldiers participating in the fighting in Ukraine could receive a monetary reward if they managed to seize or destroy a German or American tank.

Those who successfully capture a Leopard 2 in working condition could get paid as much as 3 million rubles ($42,909) while those that destroy it could get 1 million rubles ($14,303). Those assisting with the capture could also be paid $7,150 and those who aid in the destruction of German tanks will get $2,240. It’s noted that up to 10 people could be listed as assistants who are entitled to payments.

As for American M1 Abrams tanks, the governor has promised a sum of 1.5 million rubles ($21,450) for their capture and 500,000 rubles ($7,150) for their destruction.

Reporters REPEATEDLY Grill Karine Jean-Pierre About FBI Search of Biden’s Rehoboth Beach House – She Dodges Every Question! (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly dodged questions about the FBI’s search of Joe Biden’s Rehoboth Beach house.

The FBI searched Joe Biden’s Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home Wednesday morning for more classified documents.

The FBI conducted a search on Wednesday from 8:30 am to noon and found no documents with classified markings.

The agents took handwritten notes that appear to be from Biden’s time as Vice President.

Reporters’ cameras caught investigators with Virginia plates pull up to Biden’s Delaware beach house.

CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe asked Karine Jean Pierre: “Would the White House have revealed today’s [FBI] search if pool cameras hadn’t caught the investigators arriving on scene?”

KJP dodged and refused to answer the question.

“Again, this is a question for the White House counsel’s office. I would refer you to them,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.

Reuters reporter Trevor Hunnicutt asked Karine Jean-Pierre: “What is the current number of documents bearing classified markings…found in [Biden’s] residences and offices?”

“I would refer you to the WH counsel’s office,” KJP said.

“Ian [Sams] just declined to comment,” the reporter said.

“Well, there you go,” KJP said.

“Is there a reason that two of the searches were disclosed and not the search of the Penn Biden Center? Is there a legal reason why you are disclosing only two and not what we know is a third search?” ABC’s Mary Bruce asked KJP after Ian Sams refused to answer her questions about the FBI searches.

“Again, I’m going to refer you to the WH Counsel’s office,” KJP said.

“Did anyone at the White House tell the National Archives at any point not to issue a press release about the discovery of classified documents?” NBC’s Peter Alexander asked Karine Jean-Pierre.

“I would–I would really you to the White House counsel’s office, who has been running this process,” KJP said.
