NFL Week 10 did not disappoint!

Commanders at Texans (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

The Commanders keep coming up with ways to win games, even when most football fans and bettors have counted them out. They are 5-5 straight up (SU) this season and 5-4-1 against the spread (ATS), and that includes their 32-21 upset victory over the Eagles in the Monday Night Football Week 10 finale.

Washington's backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke and superstar wide receiver Terry McLaurin have established themselves as quite the successful tandem. Heinicke is 3-1 SU as a starter this season, and Scary Terry had 128 receiving yards in Washington's Week 10 win over the Eagles.

All this success without QB1 Carson Wentz in the lineup.

On the other side of the ball are the Texans. They are a miserable 1-7-1 SU. Do they even realize its football season?

And while we're asking the tough questions, does Washington really need Carson to come back? If Heinicke gets the start in Week 11, we like the Commanders to get the W.

Prediction:
Commanders by 8 to 10 points

Rams at Saints (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

This is a matchup between two of the most underwhelming teams in the NFL. Rams House has posted just three wins, proving every week that you need more than Gatorade to cure a Super Bowl hangover. And folks in Who Dat Nation are probably wondering who got a hold of their voodoo doll.

More importantly, you're probably wondering which of these awful squads you should back in Week 11. For that, we're going LA.

The Saints are 0-6 in their last six November matchups and currently have the worst turnover differential in the league. Don't get it twisted, though; the Rams don't look much better than NO. Especially considering that Los Angeles is dealing with injuries and ranks 31st in total offense.

Ultimately, this will be an ugly game. But it will be close.

Prediction:
Rams by 3 points

Bears at Falcons (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

Now the Bears, like the Rams and Saints, have only posted three wins. But Chicago, with its 3-7 record, has been a fun team to watch — win or lose.

Bears QB Justin Fields has been the star of Second City's spectacular show. His 325 rushing yards in his last two games are the most rushing yards by a quarterback in the NFL in a two-game span. This weekend, that Bears offense is meeting an Atlanta team whose total defense ranks 31st overall.

It's also worth noting that since 2000, the Bears are 6-3 SU when they've faced Atlanta.

Expect Justin Fields and the Bears to dial up the theatrics and walk out of the A with a victory.

Prediction:
Bears by 4 to 5 points

Panthers at Ravens (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

So Baker Mayfield is on track to make his return to the Panthers lineup as QB1 this weekend. Awesome!

Since that is the case, we're backing Baltimore.

And we're on the same wave as FOX Bet oddsmakers because they have the Ravens as 12.5-point favorites.

Baltimore ranks fourth in scoring offense and third in rushing defense in the NFL. And Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is 14-1 in his 15 career starts against NFC opponents.

On the other side are the Panthers. Since 2010, they are 1-12 SU when they're double-digit underdogs. Since 2019, they're 6-17 SU when road underdogs.

Also, the Baltimore Birds are on a three-game winning streak. Jackson & Co., it seems, have hit their stride, and what you don't want to be is on the other side of a red-hot Lamar.

Baltimore by two TDs.

Prediction:
Ravens by 14 to 17 points

Lions at Giants (1 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

The Lions are a strange, sneaky beast. They only have three wins this season, but they're 5-4 against the spread. So at least when it comes to covering, backing Detroit has been profitable for bettors.

The Giants are 7-2 SU, so betting on New York's moneyline has also fattened a few wallets. But don't look now, Giants fans. You all have the toughest schedule left to play in the NFL. Their remaining opponents have a combined 63% win percentage. But their offense should be up for that challenge.

Daniel Jones has not thrown an interception in six straight games, and running back Saquon Barkley leads the league with 931 rushing yards.

All of the Giants' wins this year have come by one score or less. So we like NY, but considering how close their wins have been and knowing that the Lions like to cover, this one will be tight.

Prediction:
Giants by 1 to 2 points

Raiders at Broncos (4:05 p.m. ET Sunday, FOX)

Can we vote no on both of these teams? It's like choosing between chopped liver and spoiled cottage cheese. You can slice it or dice it any way you please, but it's all bad, and it all stinks.

But we're going with the 2.5-point underdog Raiders here.

Las Vegas has already defeated Denver once this season. When the two teams met in Week 4, the Raiders won 32-23. Including that game, they've won five straight against the Broncos. Since 2016, LV is 9-4 SU when facing Denver.

And we all saw how emotional Derek Carr got in his post-game presser after losing to Jeff "No Coaching Experience" Saturday and the Colts. Losing a game like that is enough to make you come out and play at 110% effort the following week.

Trust us. We're holding our nose, too, but Las Vegas gets the win here.

Prediction:
Raiders by 6 points

Ron DeSantis receives multiple standing ovations at first major GOP 2024 presidential cattle call

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis highlighted his landslide re-election victory and his conservative crude against what he calls "woke ideology" in an energetic speech that brought a crowd of leading Republican activists and donors to their feet numerous times.

"We’ve accomplished more over a four-year period than anybody thought possible," DeSantis touted as he delivered the keynote address on Saturday night in Las Vegas at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting, which is seen as the first major Republican cattle call in the 2024 White House race.

DeSantis, who at age 44 is 32 years younger than former President Donald Trump, won his first election as governor in 2018 thanks to a major assist from the then-president. But he’s become a force of his own as he’s built a political brand that stretches from coast to coast.

Florida’s governor has seen his popularity soar among conservatives across the country the past two and a half years, courtesy of his forceful pushback against coronavirus pandemic restrictions and his aggressive actions as a culture wars warrior, as he’s targeted the media and corporations.

PENCE SAYS TRUMP EMPHASIS ON PAST ‘NOT THAT HELPFUL’ FOR GOP IN MIDTERMS

While DeSantis for over a year has routinely discounted talk of a 2024 White House bid as he stayed laser focused on his gubernatorial re-election, the governor on Saturday repeated his well-used pledge that "we’ve got a lot more to do and I have only begun to fight."

Pointing to his overwhelming election victory, DeSantis highlighted that "we secured record margins with Hispanic voters. We swept the suburbs all across the state of Florida. Our margins with rural voters were gravity-defying.. We won by double digits Miami-Dade County."

And the governor spotlighted that "we won the highest share of the Jewish vote for any Republican candidate in Florida history."

DeSantis highlighted his record in battling antisemitism and his support for the state of Israel. He talked about holding public events "in Judea and Samaria," making him the first American politician to do so and said to huge applause "I don’t care what the State Department says - it’s not occupied territory, it’s disputed territory."

The governor, pointing to his battle against coronavirus restrictions during the height of the worst pandemic to strike the globe in century, stressed that "we were the nation's citadel of freedom." He argued that when people immigrated to Florida, "they felt like they were arriving in West Berlin from East Berlin."

POMPEO SAYS TRUMP'S ANNOUNCEMENT HAS NO IMPACT ON HIS OWN 2024 DECISION

DeSantis, to a standing ovation, highlighted his fight against "gender ideology" and the Disney Corporatin.

"It is wrong to teach a kid that they were born in the wrong body. It is wrong to teach them that gender is a choice," he argued.

And he touted that "the state of Florida is where woke goes to die"

As DeSantis seen his poll numbers in 2024 Republican presidential polls start to rival Trump, and his fundraising prowess match that of the former president, Trump in recent months has targeted the Florida governor. And Trump turned up the volume on his attacks on DeSantis in recent weeks, debuting a new nickname for the governor: "Ron DeSanctimonius."

DeSantis has refused to take the bait, electing not to engage with Trump’s taunts. And he didn’t mention the former president during his address on Saturday night.

Trump received a very warm reception as he addressed the same crowd remotely earlier in the day, in a speech that was added to the schedule at the last minute.

But DeSantis appeared to be the star of the three-day confab, grabbing the most applause of the speakers.

"When you show people you’re willing to fight for them, they will walk over broken glass barefoot to come vote for you and that’s’ exactly what they did to me," the governor spotlighted.

CRUZ SAYS HE'S RUNNING FOR SENATE RE-ELECTION BUT DOESN'T RULE OUT PRESIDENTIAL BID

Speaking ahead of DeSantis was former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations during the Trump administration.

Haley repeatedly teased a potential 2024 Republican presidential run, telling the crowd that "between us, I’m just getting started."

"A lot of people have asked if I’m going to run for president," Haley said to cheers. "Now that the midterms are over, I’ll look at it in a serious way."

She reiterated that "I’ve never lost an election and I’m not going to start now," and that "when people underestimate me, it’s always fun."

Haley also touted her record of support for Israel, saying "I was proud to stand up to the bullies and the haters of Israel at the UN. It was the right thing to do."

And she grabbed a standing ovation when she repeated her line that if President Biden "succeeds in getting back in the Iran deal, I will make you a promise. I’ve said it before: The next president will shred it on her first day in office."
