Mark Cuban Dragged For Post Claiming Harris, Walz Will Grow On People

Billionaire Mark Cuban took some heat on Tuesday when he suggested that voters had already warmed up to Kamala Harris and they’d soon do the same with regard to her vice-presidential pick, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN).

Cuban shared his thoughts in a post on X shortly after Harris — bumped to the top of the 2024 ticket when President Joe Biden abruptly dropped out of the race amid concerns about his mental fitness and physical health — tapped Walz to join her campaign.

“On the @tim_walz choice, I think people who don’t like it are missing the lesson of the switch to Harris. She went from worst to first as people got to know her,” Cuban posted. “It’s not a reach to think the same thing will happen with Walz. People are tired of the ideologues and hate from both parties. They want to vote for normal people they can relate to. Walz can sit at the kitchen table and make you feel like you have know him forever. That’s an incredible skill these days.”

Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing pointed out the fact that no one had, in fact, “gotten to know” Harris at all since she became the Democratic Party’s nominee by default — namely because in two weeks, she has not given one real interview or even answered one difficult question.

“This is crap. Kamala went from worst to first, alright. But not when people ‘got to know her,'” he replied. “She hasn’t been asked a difficult question, hasn’t submitted to a challenging interview, has t told us what she thinks or believes on any issue … It’s precisely because people haven’t gotten to know her that she is ascendent. The combined power of almost every institution in public life has united to convince America she is wonderful without requiring her to reveal herself at all. If she does, it will not be a ‘normal’ person America sees at all.”

“I’ve never seen a guy who is smart enough to become a billionaire be stupid enough to think Kamala is the ‘normal’ choice. Her and the far-left ideologue she picked as VP are antithetical to everything that made him a success in this country,” Jason Howerton added.

“She ‘went from worst to first’ by people who chant ‘blue no matter who.’ It has absolutely nothing to do with her policies, which by the way are still unknown,” another pointed out.

McDowell, 21, was still being held on a $400,000 bond at the Harris County Jail Facility as of Monday, per The Hollywood Reporter. The actor’s relation to the victim was still unclear as of Tuesday, and how McDowell responded to the charges is also unknown. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

The actor played the character Savion Williams in two episodes of “Billions.” He also had a starring role in “David Makes Man,” a coming-of-age drama about a teenage prodigy named David (McDowell) who lived in the projects in South Florida while attending a school for academically gifted students.

He is also slated to star in the movie The Waterboyz, which is about two men who choose very different paths in life. One tries to follow the rules, and the other creates chaos.

McDowell, who was 16 when he was cast in “David Makes Man,” reflected on his role and the series’ message during a 2019 interview with Oprah.
