A new ad from a pro-Trump super PAC backing the former president’s 2024 campaign attacks Vice President Kamala Harris as “dangerously liberal,” focusing on her handling of the border and criticism of police.

The ad from Make America Great Again Inc goes after Harris’ record as vice president and her roll as President Joe Biden’s “border czar.” Harris launched a campaign for president shortly after President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he would not be seeking re-election.

“If you thought Joe Biden was radical, just wait till you get to know Kamala Harris. She’s dangerously liberal,” the ad says.

During the ad, video clips show Harris giving her pronouns and discussing criticism of police.

“For far too long, the status quo thinking has been to believe that by putting more police on the street, you’re going have more safety, and that’s just wrong,” she says.

Other clips show Harris claiming that the U.S. border is secure and saying that she did not support treating people who illegally crossed into the country as criminals. She also said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) needed to be “critically” examined and that “we should probably think about starting from scratch” when asked about the push from the Left to abolish ICE.

Trump has also sharply criticized Harris over the border, which has seen record numbers of illegal crossings under the Biden administration.

“Lyin’ Kamala Harris, the Biden appointed ‘Border Czar’ who never visited the Border, and whose incompetence gave us the WORST and MOST DANGEROUS Border anywhere in the World, has absolutely terrible pole numbers against a fine and brilliant young man named DONALD J. TRUMP! Be careful what you wish for, Democrats??” Trump posted on Truth Social.

In another clip, Harris says that there should be a “conversation” about giving the right to vote to people who have been convicted of serious crimes, including the Boston Marathon bomber.

A previous ad from MAGA Inc. blasted Harris for her role in the Biden administration, criticizing the vice president over her previous comments on Biden’s condition.

“Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe’s obvious mental decline,” the advertisement says before cutting to a clip of Kamala Harris claiming that “our president is in good shape and good health,” also calling him “tireless” and “vibrant.”

Harris has already secured pledges from 2,668 Democrat delegates to vote for her when they meet during the first week in August. Harris only needed 1,976 delegates to become the party’s nominee.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin demanded that critics of Vice President Kamala Harris stop suggesting that she “didn’t earn” the 2024 presidential nomination — despite the fact that she has essentially been coronated as the new Democratic presidential candidate without winning a single primary vote on her own merits.

Hostin and her co-hosts reacted to Harris declaring herself the de facto nominee less than 48 hours after President Joe Biden — who has not been seen publicly in days — announced via a letter shared on X that he was leaving the 2024 campaign, posting a short time later that he was endorsing Harris to pick up where he’d left off.

“You know what I think? I think that they recognize they’re in trouble now with Kamala at the head of the ticket,” Hostin began, arguing that in her mind, people would respond to the optics of “pitting a former prosecutor against a convicted felon.”

Hostin went on to claim that it was a “fallacy that black men are gonna vote for Trump” because there was a phone call with an activist group called Win With Black Men, and they raised more than $1 million for Harris. She also suggested that all black women would vote for Harris.

“What I will say is stop with the ‘she didn’t earn it,'” Hostin demanded. “Stop with the ‘she is not qualified.'”

Hostin then claimed that because Harris was a black woman, she had to be “twice as good to get half as far.”

She did not mention the fact that when Harris ran her own presidential campaign beginning in 2019, she did not even make it to 2020 before lack of support caused her to exit the race. Hostin did not mention the fact that Harris was chosen to be Biden’s vice president only after he promised to select a woman of color. She also completely ignored the fact that Harris did not receive a single primary vote at the top of the ticket and had simply claimed ownership of the nomination after racking up some cash and a few high-profile endorsements.
