DeSantis Rips Harris-Walz Ticket: ‘Most Left-Wing Ticket In American History’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) slammed Vice President Kamala Harris’ decision this week to select far-Left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate, saying that the two represent one of the most radical tickets in American history.

DeSantis made the remarks during a press conference and on social media after the selection was announced early on Tuesday morning.

“We all remember the BLM riots of 2020 in Minneapolis,” DeSantis said. “Those were riots that Harris egged on and raised money to bail out the rioters with Minnesota Bail Fund, and they’re riots that Tim Walz as governor sat back and let happen. He sat back and let the city of Minneapolis burn. That city has been gutted as a result of those riots.”

“This is a ticket that really represents the spirit of those 2020 BLM riots,” he continued. “You have a very vapid San Francisco Democrat and then you’ve got an Ilhan Omar-style leftist, Tim Walz, who has the same policies as his fellow Minnesotan Ilhan Omar.”

“We do not need an America that represents the failed policies of San Francisco or the failed policies of Minneapolis,” he said. “We do not need to see poop on the street and cities burning down. That is not a prescription for America to work its way back.”

DeSantis noted that from 2020 through 2021, “you were five times more likely to move from Minnesota to Florida than vice versa, and that’s a result of people fleeing those failed policies.”

“Why would we want that for the United States of America? Where are people going to flee to?” he asked. “We can’t have everybody live in the state of Florida, I can tell you that.”

On social media, DeSantis branded the ticket “Make America Burn Again” and said that the two represented the “most left-wing ticket in American history.”

In 2021, Minnesotans were roughly five times more likely to move to Florida than vice versa.

They were fleeing a state that, under Gov. Tim Walz, turned its back on law and order, increased taxes, and imposed unscientific coronavirus restrictions, harming children and destroying…

Another Squad Member Ousted From Congress: Missouri’s Cori Bush Loses Primary

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) on Tuesday became the second member of the far-left anti-Israel “Squad” to lose her congressional seat to a challenger.

Decision Desk HQ called the race for St. Louis County prosecuting attorney Wesley Bell just after 9 p.m. local time with just over 40% of the vote tallied — at the time, Bell led Bush by double digits, holding 54.9% to Bush’s 41.8%.

Decision Desk HQ projects Wesley Bell wins the Democratic primary for US House in Missouri’s 1st Congressional District. #DecisionMade: 10:07pm ET

Bush first appeared on the local political scene in the wake of the Ferguson riots — where she was an active participant — and has continued to use lies about what happened to Michael Brown to push her political agenda. She has represented Missouri’s 1st Congressional District — which includes St. Louis City and parts of the outlying St. Louis County — since 2021, after unseating William “Lacy” Clay Jr. in the 202o election. She has since made a name for herself by quickly aligning with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and others on the radical Left.

In the wake of the October 7th massacre — an unprecedented and unprovoked attack on Israel that was carried out by Hamas terrorists — Bush took the side of the pro-Hamas protesters who blamed Israel for the resulting war and threatened Jewish students on college campuses across the United States.

The Missouri Congresswoman has since been embroiled in controversy over funneling thousands to her husband, while he provides “security” for her even as she demands less police protection for others while violent crime surges in her home district.

Bush’s loss comes on the heels of another primary ouster 1,000 miles away — Rep. Jamaal Bowman, best known for pulling a fire alarm to stop an unfavorable vote from proceeding, lost by double digits after he too voiced support for campus pro-Hamas protesters in the aftermath of October 7th.

Both Bush and Bowman have claimed that, rather than their own radical policies, funding from AIPAC — a pro-Israel group — is the reason their campaigns floundered and ultimately failed.
