Parents Blast School District At Board Meeting After ‘Genderqueer Witch’ Administered Sexual Survey To Students

Parents blasted a Pennsylvania school district and continued to demand answers on Monday night after the revelation that it allowed students to be surveyed by a “genderqueer witch” on sexual topics without parental permission.

The parents’ comments came during the meeting of the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District school board and after The Daily Wire reported that Unionville High School had brought in a “genderqueer witch,” known as Deni Tobin, to speak to high school freshmen about the issue of dating violence last year. When parents first asked about Tobin’s presentation, they were accused of spreading misinformation.

“I’m here tonight to speak about a troubling pattern of misconduct in the school district that undermines the sanctity of parental rights,” local parent and lawyer Chad Williams said during public comment at the board meeting.

Williams has filed a series of public information requests about Tobin’s presentation and the sexual violence surveys that were administered to students without parental permission in addition to filing a misconduct complaint against District Superintendent John Sanville.

“In the spring of 2023, just a month after a transgender person walked into a Christian school and murdered three children and three adults because they were Christians,” Williams added. “Dr. Sanville claimed that concerns about a transgender, self-described queer witch who was teaching high school freshman about sexual topics were quote ‘unfounded’ and he accused parents of spreading misinformation.”

Williams has attempted to set up a meeting with district officials, but says he has been so far stonewalled in his efforts for full transparency around the incident.

Other parents criticized the school board during the meeting, with one accusing the district of hiding information on the presentation from parents.

“The school made significant efforts to prevent parents from finding out the truth about this event and the event went so far as to conduct personal attacks against those who had the temerity to inquire about the survey,” a mother named Fabiana said.

A father named Erik said that his child was handed materials from Planned Parenthood during Tobin’s presentation, something the district has denied. Videos from the group that Tobin was brought in with, the Chester County Crime Victims Center, show Tobin presenting Planned Parenthood’s FRIES (Freely Given, Reversible, Informed, Enthusiastic, and Specific) sexual consent acronym.

“I don’t want my kid receiving Planned Parenthood information in the public school that I pay for,” he said. “And for you to look at me and say ‘Oh, it’s fake news, you’re falling for fake news, this is misinformation, you’re peddling misinformation.’ It’s wrong.”

Multiple parents also made reference to the district superintendent’s wife commenting “fake news” on a post from the Chester County Republican Party sharing The Daily Wire article detailing parental concerns about the dating violence presentation.

Unionville High Principal Amy Jenkins sent Williams an email on Tuesday asking to confirm a day for a meeting with him, but did not confirm whether other school board officials would be in attendance as requested.

The district conducted an investigation and determined that policy had not been followed when Tobin had distributed the sex-themed surveys to the students. The surveys asked students about their gender identity and whether they had ever “pressured” someone into a sexual act or whether someone had pressured them to do something sexual.

White House Cancels Daily Press Briefing After Biden’s Son Convicted On Multiple Gun Felonies

The White House canceled the press briefing that it had planned today following a federal grand jury convicting President Joe Biden’s son on three felony gun charges.

Jurors convicted Hunter Biden, 54, on all charges that he faced, including lying to a federally licensed firearms dealer, making a false claim on a federal firearms background check form, and being in possession of an illegally obtained firearm. Hunter Biden faces up to 25 years in prison for his crimes and up to $750,000 in fines.

The White House canceled the scheduled briefing from Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who often struggles to answer questions, and instead announced that Biden would spend the evening with his son in Delaware.

“We are naturally disappointed by today’s verdict,” said Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden’s attorney. “We respect the jury process, and as we have done throughout this case, we will continue to vigorously pursue all the legal challenges available to Hunter. Through all he has been through in his recovery, including this trial, Hunter has felt grateful for and blessed by the love and support of his family.”

Hunter Biden responded to the charges in a separate statement: “I am more grateful today for the love and support I experienced this last week from Melissa, my family, my friends, and my community than I am disappointed by the outcome. Recovery is possible by the grace of God, and I am blessed to experience that gift one day at a time.”

President Biden pledged last week that he would accept the outcome of the verdict and would not pardon his son. After the verdict was announced, CNN noted that he may commute his son’s prison sentence.

Special Counsel David Weiss said that the overarching themes of the case were Hunter Biden’s “illegal choices and the rule of law.”

“First, while there has been much testimony about the defendant’s abuse of drugs and alcohol, ultimately, this case was not just about addiction — a disease that haunts families across the United States, including Hunter Biden’s family,” he continued. “This case was about the illegal choices [the] defendant made while in the throes of addiction, his choice to lie on a government form when he bought a gun, and the choice to then possess that gun. It was these choices and the combination of guns and drugs that made his conduct dangerous.”

“Second, no one in this country is above the law,” he added. “Everyone must be accountable for their actions, even this defendant. However, Hunter Biden should be no more accountable than any other citizen convicted of this same conduct. The prosecution has been and will continue to be committed to this principle and to the principles of federal prosecution in carrying out its responsibilities.”
