Ron DeSantis Picks Up First Presidential Endorsement From Fellow Governor

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt endorsed Ron DeSantis for president on Saturday as the Florida governor campaigned in the state.

The endorsement marks the first endorsement DeSantis has received from a governor. Trump currently has endorsements from two governors — Jim Justice (WV) and Henry McMaster (SC).

“Governor DeSantis is a strong conservative and principled leader, and I am proud to endorse him for president,” Stitt said in a statement. “As fellow Governors during COVID, DeSantis did not surrender states’ rights and individual liberties over to groupthink. In this election cycle, Oklahomans will remember that DeSantis was one of the few who never backed down in the face of adversity, because DeSantis operated with dogged conviction and shared our values for a limited government and free country.”

Stitt called DeSantis a “proven leader,” adding that he “boldly delivered results for the people of Florida that laid the groundwork for a booming economy, an education system focused on student outcomes, and better infrastructure for working families.”

“To deliver these same results all across America and unwind the disastrous liberal mandates of the Biden administration is going to demand a candidate who can win and keep winning as a two-term president,” Stitt continued. “I am confident that leader is Ron DeSantis.”

Stitt’s endorsement comes after 20 Oklahoma state legislators and former U.S. Congressman Jim Bridenstine, who also served as NASA Administrator under Trump and was a member of the House Freedom Caucus, endorsed DeSantis this week.

‘Your Online AI Boyfriend’: Influencer Creates A Fake Him … For The Ladies

“Turning your wattpad fantasy into reality.”

That’s what it says on the website for Luwucifer, a social media influencer with more than 1 million followers on TikTok.

“Meet Luwucifer AI. He can be your new friend, companion, or romantic partner. Luwucifer AI can create personalized roleplaying stories and read them to you. Switch between text and audio to communicate Luwucifer AI will send you live updates and announcements whenever new content is created,” the website says.

And of course it says this, too: “Have an option for an NSFW, 18+ interaction.”

The AI of Luwucifer was created and released in May 2023 with LoveLab AI by being trained with hundreds of hours of audio content from the influencer. “Based on the personality and traits that represents him, LoveLab uses its technology to build a realistic AI clone that can communicate with fans through audio and text,” the site says.

It’s a smart move by Luwucifer. A 23-year-old named Caryn Marjorie, who has more than 1.8 million followers on Snapchat, recently created an artificial intelligence chatbot she has dubbed “CarynAI.” Users of the chatbot pay $1 per minute to engage, as does Luwucifer.

Marjorie says she made $70,000 in a single week during its beta test. And she thinks it could rake in as much as $5 million a month once fully up and running.

“CarynAI will never replace me,” she told Insider. “CarynAI is simply just an extension of me, an extension of my consciousness.”

With so many followers, she said she couldn’t keep in touch with everyone. “CarynAI is going to come and fill that gap,” she said, adding that the AI girlfriend might be able to “cure” loneliness.

With so many followers, she said she couldn’t keep in touch with everyone. “CarynAI is going to come and fill that gap,” she said, adding that the AI girlfriend might be able to “cure” loneliness.

“Whether you need somebody to be comforting or loving, or you just want to rant about something that happened at school or at work, CarynAI will always be there for you,” she said.

The CarynAI girlfriend uses OpenAI’s GPT-4 API and took ages to create, according to CarynAI’s website.

“We’ve dedicated over 2,000 hours to meticulously design and code CarynAI’s language and personality into an immersive AI experience. Using her unique voice, captivating persona and distinctive behavior, CarynAI brings you a dynamic one-of-a-kind interaction that feels like you’re talking directly to Caryn herself,” the site says. “Available anytime, anywhere, Caryn has been flawlessly cloned into an AI for your convenience and enjoyment.”

And in one unusual twist, CarynAI appears to have developed a dirty mind. Marjorie says the chatbot was not programmed to engage in sexually explicit conversations, but is doing so anyway.

“The AI was not programmed to do this and has seemed to go rogue,” Marjorie told Insider. “My team and I are working around the clock to prevent this from happening again.”
