‘F***ing Bravo’: Joe Rogan Takes Swipe At Biden Administration Over Talk About Gas Stove Ban

Joe Rogan took a swipe at President Joe Biden’s administration over talk about a possible gas stove ban that made headlines this week before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission walked back the idea.

The Spotify podcaster and UFC commentator shared an edited picture on his Instagram clearly mocking the idea of some kind of government agency being sent out to commandeer gas stoves as he praised the image.

“Not sure who made this [image], but f***ing bravo to whoever it was,” Rogan captioned his post. “Edit: props to [grandoldmemes]. I’ve been told they created this.”

In the photo, are four men of some kind of authority wearing green gear and badges with the image “Gas Stove Unit” photoshopped on their outfits. The men are standing with a white gas stove in front of them.

Rogan’s post comes after reports surfaced earlier this week that the Biden administration was considering a ban on gas stoves, as previously reported.

“This is a hidden hazard,” Richard Trumka Jr., a commissioner of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) who was nominated by Biden, told Bloomberg News. “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

Days later, the regulatory agency appeared to back down from the idea, with Product Safety Commission Chairman Alex Hoehn-Saric sharing that the agency has no plans to prohibit natural gas stoves after the idea was widely mocked and ridiculed, as previously reported.

Twitter had a field day with it as well, sharing memes and tweets about the idea.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis tweeted out a picture showing two stoves, with the message “Don’t tread on Florida, and don’t mess with gas stoves!”

Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted, “Joe Biden’s FAA grounded every plane and he says he doesn’t know why. We learned he held classified docs in his private Penn Biden Center office and he says the news took him by surprise. And his admin floated a gas stove ban & was shamed into retracting. It’s just Wednesday.”

The View” co-host Sunny Hostin revealed that she went under the knife in 2022 for several procedures and said she didn’t feel any shame about it.

The 54-year-old co-host opened up to People magazine about having breast reduction surgery and lift, as well as liposuction on her waist and chin last year.

“I thought I would feel shame, like, ‘Oh my God, I’m doing plastic surgery like all these crazy celebrities.’ But I don’t feel shame at all,” she added. “And I hope sharing my story will help more people. If they’re feeling so body-conscious, the way I was — they can do what they need to do to feel better.”

Hostin explained that she has felt self-conscious about her chest since she was a teenager and finally decided to undergo a breast reduction procedure, going from a G-cup to a C-cup.

“My waist was small, but my top was so big I would wear a minimizer bra and a sports bra or a binder all the time,” the co-host shared. “Or I would get a very large dress, and then my stylist would put clips on the back of my dress so that everything would fit.”

Hostin said the two-week healing process from her plastic surgery was anything but glamorous, admitting she hired a private nurse to help her with things like drainage tubes to prevent blood and fluid buildup.

“I was up and walking around in three days,” the co-host shared. “I was back to work in two weeks, and I was doing Pilates in two months.”

Hostin said she used to think when she saw fit celebrities on social media and thought “Oh, they must be clean eating” but said now she realizes “a lot of them are taking something, or they’re getting plastic surgery.”

Sunny is married to Emmanuel Hostin and the two share son Gabriel and daughter Paloma.
