A former ABC journalist who went missing after the FBI raided his home and seized his laptop pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges.

As reported last year, Emmy-winning investigative journalist James Meek went missing after the FBI raided his Virginia home and seized classified information from his laptop in April 2022.

James Gordon Meek, 52, went missing after the feds raided his Arlington penthouse apartment, the Rolling Stone reported.

Meek produced the Hulu documentary “3212 Unredacted” which detailed the 2017 Pentagon coverup of the deaths of US special forces in Niger.

The “lightning raid” was conducted after a search warrant was approved by a federal magistrate judge in the Virginia Eastern District Court, Rolling Stone reported.

“If agents got hold of Meek’s records, the move would have had to have been approved by US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco.” The New York Post reported.

Meek pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges on Friday.

ABC News reported:

A former investigative journalist for ABC News pleaded guilty Friday to federal child pornography charges.

James Gordon Meek, 53, of Arlington, Virginia, admitted in U.S. District Court in Alexandria that he illegally possessed and transported child pornography. He covered national security issues for the network until he resigned last year.

Court papers indicate the investigation began when the FBI received a tip from Dropbox about videos showing the sexual abuse of children in an account associated with Meek.

As part of a plea agreement, Meek admitted he used an iPhone to exchange child pornography, including a video showing the sexual abuse of an infant, during a chat session with two other individuals.

An FBI affidavit indicates that agents founds dozens of child pornography images and videos when they searched Meek’s home last year, going back to at least 2014.

Kamala Harris traveled to Jacksonville, Florida to bash the state’s new curriculum on black history.

“In place of facts, extremists in Florida want to erase our full history and censor our truths,” Harris said Friday morning.

Will she talk about the slaves her ancestors owned?

Harris accused Florida Republicans of pushing propaganda.

What a joke.

She just made stuff up during her speech.

“These are the extremist leaders, so-called leaders, who make teachers fear losing their job for having a photograph of their spouse on their desk,” Kamala Harris said.
