For a brief period of time after Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory, there was talk of the Democratic Party finally learning from the clear lesson taught by the American people. But in the eight months since the election, Democrats have shown that they didn’t learn anything, and they’re just as annoying and woke as ever. 

From their attacks on Trump’s immigration agenda and ICE agents to their defense of socialism and massive government spending, liberals are doubling down on all of the things that sent them to the woodshed on November 5, 2024. 

Crying over Deportations

Throughout the entire 2024 campaign, Trump was clear on his goal to conduct the largest deportation operation in American history, and a majority of voters approved of the plan, giving Trump the mandate to get cracking on booting illegal immigrants from the country. Instead of adjusting their position on deportations to fit with the will of the people, Democrats just cried about the issue even louder. 

Leftists’ temper tantrums over deportations have also turned into referring to ICE agents as “Nazi thugs” and a “modern-day Gestapo.” 

Democrats’ rhetoric on the issue has been blasted by the Trump administration, which has pointed to an 800% increase in violence toward immigration agents, including armed assaults on Border Patrol and ICE officers. 

Leftist protesters and rioters opposing the ICE operations have also clashed with police officers and agents and impeded law enforcement duties. Talk about annoying … and dangerous! One Arizona sheriff summed it up perfectly: “They don’t have individual thought, they have group think.”

Defending Massive Government Spending on Wokeness

Another main goal for the Trump administration has been to strip out unnecessary government spending and dismantle wasteful government agencies and programs. Of course, this too riled up the Democrats, who couldn’t bear the thought of people in Iraq going without their own Sesame Street and people in Africa going without birth control (yes, those were real things your government was spending money on). 

Most recently, Democrats are upset that the Left-leaning National Public Radio’s government funding is also getting axed. Yeah, the same NPR that said it wasn’t going to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 because it didn’t “want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.” 

And it gets worse. In 2024, NPR ran a Valentine’s Day segment on “queer animals.” Two years prior, it discussed the  “whole community of genderqueer dinosaur enthusiasts” and “trans-ceratops.” Yep, those are your tax dollars hard at work over at NPR. 

Did Democrats admit that maybe NPR went a little overboard on the leftism? Nope! Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-WI) claimed that NPR is vital for public safety, saying that it’s important for “emergency alerts, disaster updates, the weather and other reliable news.” Sure, Tammy. Because everyone you know only ever listens to NPR for breaking news. 

Pushing Socialism

Leftists already have their attention on the next round of elections in 2025 and 2026. Common sense would suggest that this time around, they’ll push more moderate candidates … but Democrats aren’t big fans of common sense. Instead, they’re pushing a radical socialist (possibly full-blown Marxist?) candidate in this year’s New York City mayoral race, while socialists Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez traveled the country on a “Fight the Oligarchy” tour, seeking to stir up the leftist base for the Democratic Party. 

“Assemblymember [Zohran] Mamdani has demonstrated a real ability on the ground to put together a coalition of working-class New Yorkers that is strongest to lead the pack,” AOC said in her endorsement, which helped lead Mamdani to a Democratic primary victory last month. 

Even after the Red Wave that pushed Trump and Republicans over the top in 2024, Democrats keep whining about conservative policies and running to the Left. And then they wonder why Americans reject their craziness.

Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera, who’s been touring the United States with a supposedly haunted Raggedy Ann doll named Annabelle, died unexpectedly at a hotel, sparking a big reaction online.

Rivera, 54, was found dead in his room on Sunday at the end of his three-day stop in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as part of his “Devils on the Run Tour” with the doll. 

Pennsylvania State Police shared a more detailed report on Wednesday.

“Members from PSP Gettysburg responded to a hotel in Straban Township, Adams County for a report of a deceased [man],” the report said. “The decedent was discovered in his hotel room by workers.

“Nothing unusual or suspicious was observed at the scene,” it added. “This case is pending autopsy results.”

The New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) described this particular doll as “demonically possessed.” It was given to a nursing student in 1968, and she claimed that something wasn’t right with it.

“Almost immediately, the roommates noticed strange occurrences with the doll and they were introduced to a medium who told them the doll was inhabited by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle,” the organization reported. “The two roommates tried to accept the doll’s spirit and please it only to have it reciprocate maliciousness and violent intent.”

The society’s late founders, Ed and Lorraine Warren, kept the doll stored in a glass case in an effort to “contain the evil spirited entity.”

The movie “The Conjuring” is based on the story of the “haunted” doll Annabelle. Meanwhile, many people are skeptical of the claims that the doll is possessed. 

A statement from NESPR stated that the tour would continue. “We believe with all our hearts that Dan would have wanted the work to continue — bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and honoring the memory of Ed and Lorraine Warren,” it said. “We will carry his spirit in everything we do.”

Colleagues of Rivera also called out commenters who tried to claim that his death was in some way staged to drum up interest for the tour. 

“Ghost Hunters” star Jason Hawes shared his thoughts on Facebook, saying, “The world lost a good man.
