SoCal Man Held on $3.25 Million Bail For Going Door-to-Door Lighting American Flags on Fire (VIDEO)

Long Beach, California – A man is being held on $3.25 million bail for going door-to-door and lighting American flags on fire.

John Leo Meylor, 35, of Laguna Niguel, specifically targeted homes with Americans flags and military flags.

A Ring doorbell camera caught Meylor lighting an American flag on fire in the middle of the night on Thursday.

Meylor was charged with 13 counts of arson and violation of parole.

KTLA reported:

Residents of a Long Beach neighborhood are shaken up after an arsonist was caught on camera setting their American flags on fire.

A doorbell camera captures the man lighting up the flags in the middle of the night on Thursday.

The suspect was identified as John Leo Meylor, 35, from Laguna Niguel. He was arrested several hours after the attacks, tracked down by authorities at a nearby park.

Authorities say the suspect has struck at least 14 homes in the same neighborhood.

In a video provided by a neighbor who wished to remain anonymous, the suspect sets the flags on fire with a lighter. He appears to be relaxed, keeping one hand in his pocket. He ensures the flag is fully ignited by flicking his lighter multiple times and touching the flames to the flag. He then calmly walks away from the burning debris.

“We just can’t believe this is happening,” Jane Andrus, a victim, tells KTLA’s Rachel Menitoff. “I walked outside and the pole was charred. The old pole was just charred and there was no flag and something was missing.”

Update: Biden’s DOE “Pup Handler” Sam Brinton Accused of Stealing Jewelry Worth $1,700 in Las Vegas Luggage Theft – Arrest Warrant Issued

Joe Biden’s gender fluid “pup handler” DOE employee Sam Brinton was put on leave after he was charged with felony theft for stealing a woman’s luggage last month at MSP airport in Minnesota.

Brinton is now being accused of stealing luggage from a Las Vegas airport, KLAS learned on Thursday.

Sam Brinton was caught on surveillance video stealing luggage from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas!

Brinton was reportedly charged with grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000, KLAS reported this week.

According to the police report obtained by Fox News, Brinton stole jewelry worth $1,700 in the Las Vegas luggage theft.

The Vegas theft took place on July 6, however, police were initially unable to identify Brinton as the suspect caught on surveillance video.

However, after news broke of Brinton’s Minnesota airport theft, police reopened the case and were able to identify Brinton as the same person who stole the luggage at Harry Reid International.

Police confirmed Brinton’s flight to Vegas on July 6 and matched his rainbow-colored shirt to a selfie he posted on Instagram.

An arrest warrant for Brinton was issued on Thursday.

Fox News reported:

The nonbinary Biden administration official facing up to five years in prison for allegedly stealing luggage in Minnesota now faces up to 10 years in prison for stealing another bag in Nevada, according to a police report obtained by Fox News Digital.

Samuel Brinton — who has served as the Energy Department’s (DOE) deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition since June — allegedly stole a suitcase with a total estimate worth of $3,670 on July 6 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, according to a declaration filed by a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) detective on Wednesday. The bag contained jewelry valued at $1,700, clothing worth $850 and makeup valued at $500.

The detective wrote in the report that a woman traveling from Washington, D.C., to Las Vegas on July 6 reported one of her checked bags missing shortly after the incident. Police then reviewed security camera footage and observed “a white male adult wearing a white T-shirt with a large rainbow colored atomic nuclear symbol design” removing baggage that matched the victim’s description of her missing bag before quickly exiting the airport.

“Brinton demonstrated several signs of abnormal behavior while taking the victim’s luggage which are cues suspects typically give off when committing luggage theft,” the LVMPD detective wrote in the report. “Specifically, Brinton pulled the victim’s luggage from the carousel and examined the tag.”

“Then placing it back on the carousel, looking in all directions for anyone who might be watching, or might approach,” it continued. “Pulling it back off the carousel and demonstrating the same behavior by looking around before walking away with it quickly. Brinton only having checked one piece of luggage, which Brinton had already claimed from the carousel, had no reason to be examining and taking any other pieces of luggage.”
