WHAT A JOKE: Chuck Schumer Claims Trump ‘is subject to the same laws as every American’

In response to the Trump indictment, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is saying that Trump is subject to the same laws as everyone else.

This has become a Democrat talking point. How many times have you heard Democrats say no one is above the law?

It’s a total lie. If it was true, Pelosi, Hillary, Biden and countless other Democrats would already be in jail.

The Hill reports:

Schumer on indictment: Trump ‘is subject to the same laws as every American’

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Thursday called for calm heads to prevail after the Manhattan District Attorney’s office indicted former President Trump in relation to hush money payments made to an adult film actress Stormy Daniels during his 2016 campaign.

“Mr. Trump is subject to the same laws as every American. He will be able to avail himself of the legal system and a jury, not politics, to determine his fate according to the facts and the law,” Schumer said in a statement on Thursday night.

“There should be no outside political influence, intimidation or interference in the case.,” Schumer continued. “I encourage both Mr. Trump’s critics and supporters to let the process proceed peacefully and according to the law.”

The indictment makes Trump the first ex-president to be hit with criminal charges in U.S. history.

Many Democrats hailed the indictment. Others have spoken in the same vein as Schumer and are calling for the legal process to play out.

They lie right to our faces.

They know they’re lying and they just don’t care. Who is going to hold them accountable? The media?

Florida Senate Quietly Introduces Bill That Could Allow Desantis to Run Without Resigning as Governor

As President Trump is in the process of being indicted by a Soros-backed New York DA, the Florida state senate quietly submitted a bill to the Ethics and Elections committee at 6:08pm that would reportedly enable politicians to remain in their elected position during a campaign.

Senate Bill 7050 was submitted today and added to the committee’s agenda for April 4, 2023 at 2:00pm.  If passed, the bill would take effect on July 1, 2023.  DeSantis likely would not announce a bid for the Presidency until that time.

Hell of a time to let people know you’re going to change the resign-to-run law. pic.twitter.com/65qCiSL4AF

BREAKING:

Ron DeSantis waited until the media was fully consumed with Trump’s indictment to make a move to repeal Florida’s resign-to-run law, which prevents current public officials from seeking other offices while serving in their current office. pic.twitter.com/kbdlH9lETf

Earlier today, DeSantis finally addressed the indictment of Florida resident President Donald Trump regarding extradition to New York for the criminal processing by saying Florida would not assist in the extradition of President Trump.  It is a move that was brought up when he first addressed the potential indictment last week by saying he would not be involved.

The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head.

It is un-American.

The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is…
