CNN’s Van Jones Blasts Left-Wing Protesters Who Attacked Jews In L.A.

CNN’s Van Jones slammed the political Left this week after far-Left pro-Hamas protesters attacked Jews outside of a synagogue in southern California over the weekend.

The pro-Hamas extremists gathered in front of the Adas Torah synagogue on Sunday morning to block entrance into the building and to disrupt a planned peaceful rally of pro-Israel protesters.

“Listen, if you don’t like what’s happening in Gaza, it’s your right to protest. That’s not a problem. But you protest a policy. You don’t protest a people,” Jones said. “You don’t bum-rush a Jewish neighborhood and run up on a synagogue. That’s not protesting a policy. That’s protesting a people. And that is a cross of any line in America. And it has to be called out.”

“And you have to also understand the context here. This is a neighborhood that’s already been traumatized, not just October 7th, which traumatized all Jewish communities, but that neighborhood in particular,” he continued. “Last year, in February, not one, but two Jewish men, Orthodox Jewish men, were gunned down, were shot in two back-to-back hate crimes. So you’re dealing with the community that’s already traumatized. They’re already fearful. And then you go and you do something like this.”

He said that what the Left-wing group did was not a protest but a “pogrom” — an event designed to violently attack Jews.

“I think it’s a little bit naive for some of the people to think that if Israel would just suddenly just stop doing what it’s doing, that rainbows and bunnies and sunshine would break out over the Middle East, it would all be fine,” he said. “The hostages have to be returned. People have called for a ceasefire, call for ceasefire on both sides. Hamas is still firing its rockets. They still have hostages kidnapped. So this is a complex issue. But here’s what’s not complicated. Politics can be complicated. Geopolitics can be really complicated.”

“How you treat your neighbors, how you treat people in your community, is not complicated. You don’t run up — I haven’t seen Jewish people running up on mosques with Israeli flags. If they did that, I’d be denouncing that, too,” he continued. “There are certain things you don’t do. It is a red line. If you want to be a part [of] protests and they say we’re going to go to a Jewish community center, we’re going to go to a mosque, we’re going to go to a Jewish restaurant, that’s not a protest. That’s the pogrom. That’s an anti-Jewish bigoted act.”

Protest a policy, not a people. What we saw outside of the synagogue in LA is a pogrom.”

400+ Illegal Aliens Have Been Brought Into U.S. By ISIS-Affiliated Human Smuggling Network: Report

More than 400 illegal aliens have been brought into the U.S. through an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network under President Joe Biden, according to a report.

NBC News reported that multiple U.S. officials confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security has identified who the individuals are because they were smuggled in through the Islamic terrorist network.

The report said that 150 of the individuals have been arrested, but the whereabouts of more than 50 are unknown as federal law enforcement officials seek to hunt them down and arrest them. The report said that the remaining illegal aliens are spread out over 17 states and that they will likely be arrested soon.

The Biden administration sought to take credit for tracking down the illegal aliens, claiming that they were doing so out of “an abundance of caution.”

The report said that the illegal aliens crossed the southern border as part of the national security and immigration crisis that Biden caused with his open borders policies.

The illegal aliens were all released into the U.S. because there was not information at the time connecting them to terrorism when they were contacted by U.S. Border Patrol.

Illegal aliens originating from countries were ISIS operates will rarely ever have information in any kind of database that connects them to terrorism because the countries are usually third world with little-to-no infrastructure to track terrorist suspects. Also, even if the countries had the information, many of them would likely not want to share it with the United States because they view the U.S. as an enemy state.

“The fact that the whereabouts were unknown is clearly alarming,” said former FBI counterterrorism section chief Christopher O’Leary. “I believe the [U.S.] is scrambling to locate these individuals, and using the immigration charges is not uncommon. They are in violation of that law. And if you need to take somebody off the street, that’s a good approach to do it.”

The news comes after 8 ISIS terrorist suspects were arrested in cities across the U.S. earlier this month after they illegally entered through the U.S. southern border.
