Ex-CIA Chief’s Attempt To Defend ‘National Hero’ Fauci Backfires In A Hurry

Former CIA Director John Brennan kicked a virtual hornet’s nest when he attempted to defend Dr. Anthony Fauci after a late-night Twitter-swipe from the platform’s new owner Elon Musk.

Following Musk’s cryptic announcement revealing that his pronouns are “Prosecute/Fauci,” Brennan jumped to the former (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious) NIAID Director’s defense, calling him “a national hero.”

”Dr. Fauci is a national hero who will be remembered for generations to come for his innate goodness & many contributions to public health,” Brennan tweeted.

He then went on to take a swipe at Musk, adding, “Despite your business success, you will be remembered most for fueling hate & public divisions. You may have money, but you have no class.”

Critics quickly came for Brennan, arguing both that he was wrong about Fauci and that his own lack of candor with the American people might disqualify his opinion.

“Dr. Fauci killed countless Americans, destroyed countless businesses, destroyed the education and daily lives of countless children, and lied repeatedly to accomplish all of that. No wonder an America-hating communist piece of garbage like @JohnBrennan thinks he’s a hero,” actor Nick Searcy tweeted.

Steve Hilton, host of Fox News Channel’s “The Next Revolution,” weighed in as well, disputing Brennan’s claim that Fauci would be remembered for anything other than his connections to dubious research and how that impacted the federal government’s response to the COVID pandemic.

“No, Fauci will be remembered for his demented obsession with Gain of Function research which drove him to evade Obama & Trump administration rules to commission the reckless experiments in Wuhan that are the most likely origin of the pandemic that killed millions of people,” he said.

Brennan appeared to take issue with the complaints, doubling down on his initial comments several hours later.

“Good people in democracies need a more effective way to prevent attention-craving, emotionally immature, & highly devious individuals, esp those of means, from being socially, culturally, & politically destructive,” he said. “We certainly seem to have far too many of them lately.”

Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., lashed out at Musk over the same tweet that had provoked Brennan, claiming, “Elon Musk wants to criminalize Anthony Fauci because he disagrees with him. Elon is no champion of free speech.”

But when popular Canadian legal blogger Viva Frei (@thevivafrei) pushed back, saying, “Pretty sure @elonmusk wants to ‘criminalize’ Fauci because Fauci lied under oath, engaged in gain of function research in a Chinese lab, jeopardized the entire planet, and arguably contributed to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people,” Musk’s response was simple: “Correct.”

Retired Navy SEAL Made Famous By Becoming Trans Reveals He Has Detransitioned: ‘Destroyed My Life’

A retired U.S. Navy SEAL who became famous a decade ago for becoming transgender said in a recent interview that he detransitioned because it ruined his life.

Chris Beck, who became Kristin Beck and has now returned to his original name, served in the SEAL teams for two decades in various theaters of combat, including Afghanistan and Iraq, and was awarded 29 medals for his service.

Beck gained national attention after a 2013 interview with CNN where he announced that he was transgender. He now warns that “everything you see on CNN with my face, do not even believe a word of it.”

Beck said that traumatic things that happened to him as a kid and how he was raised was “not an excuse for a psychologist to push their agenda and that’s what happened.” He encouraged people to work on whatever inner issues they have and to deal with their trauma first before pursuing transgenderism.

“Everything that happened to me for the last ten years destroyed my life,” Beck said. “I destroyed my life. I’m not a victim. I did this to myself, but I had help.”

“I take full responsibility,” he continued. “I went on CNN and everything else, and that’s why I’m here right now, I’m trying to correct that.”

Beck says that he was “very naive” at the time and that he was “used” and was “taken advantage of” by left-wing media.

“I got propagandized. I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me,” he said. “They knew what they were doing. I didn’t.”

Beck said that he is speaking out now because he wants to protect young children from being pressured into making decisions that could ruin their lives.

“There are thousands of gender clinics being put up over all of America,” he said, noting for example that a girl who feels like a “tomboy” is now told by psychologists that they are transgender and are given hormones.

“And then the next day you’re on hormones – the same hormones they are using for medical castration for pedophiles,” he said. “Now they are giving this to healthy 13-year-olds.”

Beck said that Americans needed to “wake up” to what is happening with the transgender movement, which he said was a “billion-dollar industry,” because medical professionals can quickly lead a confused person down the wrong road in life.

“I walked into a psychologist’s office [and] in one day I have a letter in my hand saying I was transgender,” he said. “I was authorized for hormones. I was authorized all this other stuff.”

“I had so much going wrong in my system when I started taking those,” he continued. “Some of that was paid for by the VA, and I’m sorry to the American people that I did that.”

Beck said he’s not taken any of the hormone therapy for nearly seven years now. He attacked former President Donald Trump back in 2017 for trying to ban transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. Military.
