18-inch Pipe Bomb Found Behind Philadelphia Catholic Church, Near Railroad Tracks: Police

An 18-inch pipe bomb — found behind a Catholic church in Philadelphia on Sunday by a passerby — launched an investigation and brought local bomb squad authorities to investigate the scene.

Philadelphia Police Department officials told a local Fox News affiliate that a passerby found a PVC pipe with capped ends and black powder near Conrail train tracks behind St. Dominic’s Catholic Church just before 1:40 p.m. in Philadelphia’s Holmesburg section.

Authorities shut down surrounding streets while a bomb squad removed the pipe bomb and transported it back to police headquarters.

No injuries were reported.

St. Dominic’s has not responded to requests for comment.

Authorities discovered the pipe bomb one day after Auxiliary Bishop of the Los Angeles David O’Connell was shot dead in his home in the Los Angeles County suburb of Hacienda Heights Saturday afternoon.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said Sunday that authorities investigating the death of O’Connell are handling the situation as a murder investigation, a spokesperson told The Daily Wire.

Megan Fox Sets The Record Straight After Machine Gun Kelly Cheating Rumors

Actress Megan Fox reappeared on Instagram on Sunday to address rumors that her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, had stepped outside their relationship.

While neither Fox nor MGK — whose given name is Colson Baker – have officially confirmed that their engagement is off, Fox took a moment to assure fans that if they were going their separate ways, it was not because of any outside influence.

“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to … actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” Fox wrote via Instagram. “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”

The rumors began last week when Fox deleted a post that appeared to hint at infidelity on Kelly’s part — and then proceeded to delete her entire account.

“You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath,” Fox wrote, quoting Beyonce’s “Pray You Catch Me” from her album “Lemonade.”

Before the post was deleted, however, a fan suggested that Kelly could have cheated on the “Transformers” star with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd. “He probably got with Sophie,” the comment read.

Fox, who has been open about her own bisexuality, responded before deleting the account, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Lloyd’s publicist responded, flatly denying the accusation in a statement later in the week: “Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

Fox and Kelly have been engaged since January of 2022.
