HERE WE GO: House GOP Issues First Subpoenas To Merrick Garland And Christopher Wray

The House GOP is starting to take on the Deep State.

The House Judiciary Committee has sent its first subpoenas to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

It requests all communications between the DOJ, FBI, Department of Education, and the National School Boards Association.

The subpoenas are over the school board memo targeting parents.

The Hill reported:

The House Judiciary Committee fired off its first subpoenas under the leadership of Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), targeting a trio of Biden administration officials including Attorney General Merrick Garland over a short-lived memo dealing with threats against school board members.

The subpoenas, sent also to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, follow a series of more than 100 letters on the 2021 memo from Judiciary Republicans.

The subpoena, reviewed by The Hill, asks for all communications between the entities and the National School Boards Association, which first wrote to DOJ asking for help in dealing with rising threats.

Jordan has repeatedly claimed the memo is a way for the Biden administration to label parents as domestic terrorists, though the FBI never charged a single parent in connection with the directive — something the chair pointed out in a recent appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press.”

The memo classified parents as “domestic terrorists” for speaking out against left-wing ideas being pushed in schools across the country.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported (10/22/21):

The National School Board Association (NSBA) coordinated with the Biden White House weeks before AG Merrick Garland classified parents “domestic terrorists” in a letter to the FBI.

As previously reported, the NSBA begged Biden to use federal law enforcement agencies against parents and investigate them for “domestic terrorism and hate crime threats.” They shamelessly claim the situation is so dire that he should use the Patriot Act, among other “enforceable actions” against them.

Merrick Garland is targeting parents who dare speak out against Critical Race Theory (CRT) because his son-in-law makes millions off of selling the Marxist literature across the country.

Professional Golf Tournament Interrupted After Caddie Suddenly Suffers Medical Emergency

On Friday, during the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the caddie for an amateur player suddenly collapsed and was rushed to a nearby hospital after receiving CPR.

According to ESPN‘s Paolo Uggetti, the play was interrupted for nearly one hour after Pebble Beach businessman Geoff Couch’s caddie, who remains unidentified, suddenly collapsed on the 11th-hole fairway.

Just talked to Max McGreevy who said the caddie collapsed in middle of the fairway and they attempted to get his bag off him quickly so they could try CPR. Asked if he could see his group resuming play, he said no.

PGA Tour chief referee Gary Young said a spectator initiated CPR until medical personnel arrived. He was rushed in an ambulance to Montage Health in Monterey, California.

Country singer Lukas Nelson and PGA Tour professionals Beau Hossler and Max McGreevy were among other members of the group who appeared shaken by what they witnessed. Couch departed the team shortly after the ambulance arrived.

American professional golfer Beau Hossler said, “I can’t say that I’m real comfortable at the moment to resume play.”

“I turn around and he’s on the ground and I ran over to him and turned him over,” said country singer Lukas Nelson, the other amateur in the group.

“And he didn’t have a lot of color in him. Luckily, there was a police officer on the sideline. He knew CPR so he came in and effectively saved his life.”

Nelson told ESPN’s Paolo Uggetti that the caddie is now “doing better.”

Players and caddies now hugging each other. Lukas Nelson, the other amateur, just told me the caddie who collapsed is “doing better.” The group is headed back to the clubhouse to regroup. Unclear if they’ll continue play.

The PGA Tour later released a statement following the incident:

During the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, there was a medical emergency at No. 11 at Pebble Beach involving an amateur’s caddie. The caddie has been rushed to Montage Health for evaluation.

At the direction of the PGA TOUR Rules Committee, the players in that group – Max McGreevy and Beau Hossler – paused play during the medical emergency and will be allowed to warm up and resume their round shortly.

We will provide additional details when available.
