The hosts of ‘The View’ say stupid things on TV every day. If you pay attention to media, you know this. The show is a constant source of misinformation.

Whoopi Goldberg is very angry with FOX News for noticing this and whined about it on the air on Friday.

It was part of a discussion about Rep. Matt Gaetz wanting the House Judiciary Committee to open their meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Townhall provides a partial transcript:

Joy Behar quoted famed literary figure Samuel Johnson about patriotism being the last refuge for scoundrels, “So what is Gaetz seeking refuge from?”

“And just so we’re clear, so everybody is clear because, you know, Fox [News] loves to to come after us everyday! They don’t, they don’t do their work. They come at us for doing what we’re supposed to do, which was give you our opinion. That’s the beautiful thing about America. In America, we can still each give our opinion and you don’t have to like it. It’s just somebody’s opinion,” Goldberg added.

“But I find that the people who are always saying, ‘Well, you know, they are anti–,’ we’re not anti-America. The beauty of America is you can say, hey, this is what’s wrong with America and we can fix it. That’s what they’re supposed to be doing. Instead of asking people to do what they already do every day, which is say the Pledge of Allegiance.”

Whoopi’s comments here are very revealing for at least three reasons.

First, she accuses Gaetz of wasting people’s time. We just went through over five years of Democrats launching investigations of Trump over pretty much anything. Where were Whoopi’s concerns about wasting time then?

Second, Whoopi claims that this is America and everyone has a right to their opinion. That is true, but the hosts of ‘The View’ constantly attack people for having opinions they don’t like.

Finally, Whoopi insists that she and her co-hosts aren’t anti-America. As Ronald Reagan once famously noted, if you’re explaining, you’re losing.

People are tired of ‘The View’ and the hosts of the show. All they seem to do is invoke hatred of Republicans, every single day, then have the audacity to complain when people notice.

A New York man has pleaded guilty to leaving threatening voicemails for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.

In his messages, he clearly stated that he intended to do harm to Greene. He also dared her to charge him. He is now facing time in jail as a result.

Did he actually think he wouldn’t be caught?

Broome County Man Pleads Guilty to Making Interstate Threats to Member of Congress

As part of his guilty plea, Morelli admitted to that on March 3, 2022, he placed a telephone call to the Washington, D.C. office of a member of the U.S. House Representatives that said in part, ““I’m gonna have to take your life into my own hands… I’m gonna hurt you. Physically, I’m gonna harm you.”

A second voicemail message on March 3, 2022, said in part, “I’m gonna have to show you, to your face, right up front, what violence truly is, and I don’t think you’re gonna like it.… I can pay someone 500 bucks to take a baseball bat and crack your skull. …You are going to get f**king physically hurt.”

A third voicemail message on March 3, 2022, included, “you’re gonna cause people to get hurt, so I’m gonna have to hurt you physically. … I’m gonna make sure that, even if they lock me up, someone’s gonna get you ’cause I’ll pay them to.”

A report from the Business Insider shows just how dumb this guy is:

At one point, Morelli even spelled out his name and told Greene’s office where he lived, according to court records.

“My name is Joseph Morelli, M-O-R-E-L-L-I,” he said, according to court documents.

He also dared Greene to press charges, according to the documents, saying it’d give him a chance in court to say “how bad you are for humanity.”

Morelli is under house arrest until his sentencing on June 1. He faces up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Greene noted the irony of the situation on Twitter:

A man pleads guilty for planning to kill me or paying someone to do it. Now he’s at home, able to do it while awaiting sentencing.
