'Pro-life Spiderman' weaves his web climbing skyscrapers to protest abortion

Maison Des Champs, 22, appears to be a mild-mannered finance student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. However, on his days off, when he is not in class, he becomes a self-described "Pro-life Spiderman" to protest abortion.

In May, days after the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion on Roe v. Wade, he scaled the 1,070-foot Salesforce Tower in San Francisco. Des Champs has also scaled the New York Times building and the Renaissance Center Tower in Detroit.

Des Champs told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday these were all acts of protest against abortion.

"We are in a cultural battle right now. I started this project because I wanted to inspire young people to speak out against abortion regardless of the backlash and the criticism that comes with being pro-life," he said.

Des Champs told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" he wanted to raise money for Let Them Live, an organization that helps "abortion-minded" mothers financially and emotionally, according to its website.

"We are seeing states like California pay for abortions. There has never been a better time than now for us as pro-lifers to put our money where our mouths are and support LetThemLive.org and women in crisis," he said.

AT LEAST 5 PRO-LIFE PREGNANCY CENTERS VANDALIZED WITHIN A WEEK OF SCOTUS OPINION LEAK

Des Champs said he wanted to help the pro-life movement and started scaling skyscrapers because all he had was "the gifts God gave me."

The UNLV senior said he practices rock climbing at Yosemite National Park and Red Rock Canyon, adding the skills to climb skyscrapers "transfer over pretty easy, surprisingly."

Host Tucker Carlson questioned the legality of the skyscraper climbs, to which Des Champs responded he is usually arrested once he finishes.

"It's just to make an example out of me, so there's no copycat. It's not that bad," he said.

Republican Lee Zeldin Rising – New York Governor Race Tightens To ‘Toss Up’

Republican Lee Zeldin has gained ground on Democrat incumbent Kathy Hochul in the race for New York governor.

The race has now been changed to ‘toss up’ status, meaning that it’s now a statistical tie.

Zeldin has been hammering Hochul on New York’s massive crime problem and that message is clearly resonating with voters.

FOX News reports:

New York governor race between Gov. Hochul and Rep. Zeldin tightens to ‘toss up’

The New York gubernatorial race between incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul and GOP challenger Lee Zeldin is now a “toss-up,” according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.

The polling outlet’s rolling average of polls from Sept. 30 to Oct. 12 shows that Hochul is leading the Republican congressman by 5.3% with 7% of voters undecided on who they will vote for.

“We have just 24 days to go until we FIRE @KathyHochul & save our state. It’s not too late for Hochul to come out of hiding & do multiple debates with me across New York, starting immediately!” Zeldin said in a Twitter post, along with a graphic showing the race moving from “lean Democrat” to “toss up.”

The shift in polls amounts to a significant comeback for Zeldin, who was down in the polls as much as 24 points in August.

“It’s a very competitive race,” pollster Doug Schoen told The New York Post on Friday.

Recent polling from Marist University showed that while Hochul has a lead over Zeldin, independent voters support Zeldin 49% to 35%, with rising crime resonating with more and more voters, especially in New York City.

Lee Zeldin has momentum on his side.

On Day 1 as Governor, I will sign an Executive Order declaring a Crime Emergency in NY, & will immediately suspend the state's cashless bail law, discovery law changes, HALT Act, Less is More, & Raise the Age.

It's time law-abiding NYers take back our streets & save our state! pic.twitter.com/kiRXsb4pWW

People are ready for real change and Zeldin is the change candidate.
