So the United States military, the most advanced military in the world, needed a spy balloon to fly over the country for an entire week in order to gather intel on the surveillance apparatus?

The China spy balloon soared over nuclear silos and military installations for a week straight.

Joe Biden knew the high-altitude surveillance balloon entered US airspace in Alaska last Saturday yet he chose to stand down.

Biden told reporters that he ordered the Pentagon to shoot down the spy balloon on Wednesday when it was spotted over Billings, Montana – SEVERAL DAYS after he already knew the balloon flew over Alaska.

But he was told ‘let’s wait for the safest place to do it.’

The spy balloon was shot down over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the Carolinas at approximately 2:40 pm ET on Saturday.

You just can’t make this up! After allowing a China spy balloon to float across Alaska and the continental United States for the last 10 days, the US military finally shot the balloon down after its work was accomplished.

Now the US military is concerned they may not reach the balloon wreckage before China can. The balloon was shot down 6 miles off the coast of Carolina. They can’t be serious, except that they are.

The US military will not have a proper salvage vessel at the scene for several days.

These clowns are making a mockery of the United States.

Concerns have grown that China may reach the wreckage of their downed spy balloon before the US Navy as a salvage vessel won’t be on the scene for days.

US officials confirmed that an F-22 Raptor fighter jet shot down the balloon with a single AIM-9X sidewinder missile at 2.38pm on Saturday, six miles off the coast of South Carolina.

A senior military advisor told Fox News that the debris field was about seven-miles wide, with the depth of the waters estimated at 47 feet.

While multiple Navy and Coast Guard vessels are in the area establishing a security and search perimeter, the senior advisor said an official salvage vessel won’t arrive until a couple of days.

There is currently no timeline on the recovery of the balloon from the Atlantic Ocean after its presence shocked the nation while it hovered over several nuclear silos before going down.
