Biden Planning To Unlock Legal Status For Hundreds Of Thousands Of Illegal Aliens: Report

President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly leaning toward a move that would “unlock” legal status and open up a pathway toward citizenship for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens that the administration has allowed into the country.

“The plan under consideration by the White House would give work permits and deportation protections to certain [illegal] immigrants through the immigration parole authority, as long as they have spouses who are American citizens,” CBS News reported.

The policy — which comes as Biden faces low approval ratings, in part due to his disastrous border policies — “could also make beneficiaries eligible for permanent U.S. residency and eventually even citizenship, by helping them clear hurdles in U.S. law,” the report added.

Multiple sources said that the plan, which rewards those who have broken federal immigration laws, has not been finalized yet, the report said.

White House spokesperson Angelo Hernandez Fernandez said the administration was exploring “a series of policy options, and we remain committed to taking action to address our broken immigration system.”

The report claimed that Biden unleashed “the harshest policy enacted by a Democratic president” last week when he signed an executive order that was widely panned as “weak” by policy experts and critics. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas wouldn’t even answer during an interview on Sunday if the policy has done anything.

Numerous videos posted to social media show that the executive order is doing little-to-nothing to stop the crisis that Biden unleashed on the U.S. with his open border policies. Some estimates say that north of 10 million illegal aliens have entered the U.S. under the Biden administration.

NEW: Per CBP source, just under 1,300 illegal immigrants were apprehended by Border Patrol here in San Diego sector alone yesterday. We shot this video late yesterday afternoon, when one single BP agent was trying to corral a group of 140.

The Biden administration secretly instructed U.S. Border Patrol agents last week to release illegal aliens into the U.S. from all but six of the more than 100 countries in the Eastern Hemisphere rather than deport them.

The Washington Examiner obtained the memo that Border Patrol agents were given by Biden officials, which came just days after Biden issued his executive order — which he said he couldn’t issue because he needed Congress to fix the border.

The instructions that Border Patrol agents were given “contradict[] what senior Biden administration officials told reporters in a call on Tuesday would be the case for migrants from Eastern Hemisphere countries who traveled through multiple countries without seeking asylum in order to reach the U.S., referred to as extra-hemispheric migrants,” said Examiner border correspondent Anna Giaritelli.

Simon Cowell Credits His Kid With Saving Him From Darkness After Losing His Parents

Former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell credited his kid with saving him from a very dark time in his life after the reality star lost his parents and became what he called a “ridiculous workaholic.”

Speaking on “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, Cowell opened up about how his 10-year-old son Eric helped him get to a place where he could be “happy again” after Cowell said he had been on a “downward spiral” following the loss of his mom in 2015 and his father years earlier, People magazine reported.

“I think particularly when I lost my mum, I was on a downward spiral at that point,” Cowell told the host. “I lost everyone, you know, I’ve lost my parents. It’s finality now. What I said about the material things I’ve got, everything just meant nothing at that point.”

“I was desperately unhappy, I wasn’t particularly enjoying my work and I just thought you know what I’m just going to become a vampire then, and I would work through until 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning,” he added. “I would wake up at 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon and I actually got addicted to that kind of lifestyle. I just loved the intensity. It was almost like because of the loss I’d had, I’ve got to find something else to fill it. And it was I’m just going to be a ridiculous workaholic, and I was very successful but I wasn’t happy, I really, really wasn’t happy.”

Cowell, who tied the knot in 2013 with Lauren Silverman, recalled the day he got the call that she was pregnant.

“When I got the call from Lauren, which starts, any call that starts with, ‘Are you sitting down?’ You know what‘s coming next. It was like, ‘Are you sitting down?’ ‘Yes,’ ‘Well,’ and she told me. And yes it did absolutely change, it changed everything in my life,” Cowell said. “It made me happy again.”

“For me, it was perfect because like we were talking earlier about our childhoods, it was brilliant. Fantastic,” he added. “I remember the first time I watched ‘Jungle Book’ [with him] and I’m looking over and seeing the joy he had watching that movie. It was like, oh my God I remember how I felt when I saw ‘The Jungle Book.’”

When the host pressed the “America’s Got Talent” judge if he would say his son “saved him,” Cowell replied, “Without question, without question. I really, really had reached the point where nothing mattered.”

Cowell and Silverman welcomed their son to the world in 2014.
