Kamala ‘Serves Up A Fresh Word Salad’ About Democracy

Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a meandering aside about democracy on Sunday, giving her critics more fodder with which to mock the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate.

Harris spoke during a stop on a multi-city bus tour in the battleground state of Pennsylvania along with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, and their spouses.

“Our election is about understanding the importance of this beautiful country of ours in terms of what we stand for around the globe as a democracy,” Harris said.

“As a democracy,” she repeated, “we know there’s a duality to the nature of democracy. On the one hand, incredible strength when it is intact.”

Harris went on, “What it does for its people to protect and defend their rights, their liberty, and their freedom. Incredibly strong and incredibly fragile.”

Video of Harris speaking about democracy were posted to X along with some not-so-flattering commentary from the presidential candidate’s detractors.

“Kamala word salads are so back,” said conservative digital strategist Greg Price.

“This is why they don’t let Kamala speak without a script. Yikes,” remarked the “End Wokeness” account.

“What does this even mean?” asked Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL)

“Kamala Harris was, is and will always be terrible on the stump,” said radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt.

“Not a good look when everyone on X is calling you a drunk,” added X user Collin Rugg.

“Kamala Harris serves up a fresh word salad as she describes the ‘duality to the nature of democracy,'” said the Trump War Room.

There have been many other instances in which Harris garnered negative attention for verbally stumbling her way through some off-the-cuff remarks.

Examples include her often-used “unburdened by what has been” and “coconut tree” remarks that led to a meme.

Harris has tried to own the awkward comments with a “brat” rebranding in which she has sought to embrace her inelegant moments.

The Trump War Room, which is associated with former President Donald Trump‘s campaign, highlighted another clip on Sunday of “Kamala ‘Cringe’ Harris.”

In the video, Harris talked to a high school football team in Pennsylvania, about knowing “you will be undefeated — even if you don’t win every game.”

WATCH: Suspected Islamic Terrorist Accidentally Blows Himself Up With Bomb In Israel

A suspected Islamic terrorist accidentally blew himself up in Tel Aviv, Israel on Sunday night while he was transporting a bomb that authorities believe was either meant for a suicide attack or to be placed and remotely detonated.

The incident happened at around 8 p.m. when Israel Police’s emergency hotline was flooded with calls about an explosion that happened.

“It has been confirmed as a bomb explosion,” police said. “As a result of the explosion, one person, whose identity is still unknown, was killed, and another person was moderately injured according to medical sources and was transported to a hospital for treatment.”

Footage from a nearby security camera captured the powerful blast.

Joe Truzman, a senior research analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), said that the bomber could have originated out of Judea and Samaria or could have ties to Iran or Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon.

“With the news that Hamas rejected the ceasefire proposal, it is possible that either of these actors decided to execute their response to recent Israeli actions,” he said. “There is also the possibility that the suspect was tied to the Islamic State or inspired by other terrorist entities. Think the Jerusalem bombing in 2022 carried out by Islam Faroukh.”

This is the second time in just a week that Islamic terrorists have had a bomb detonate prematurely in Israel.
